I lost my husband in an accident almost a month ago, so this song hits my heart pretty hard right now. He introduced me to Boyce Avenue over 2 years ago, and I have been a fan ever since. I lost my dad a year ago today to cancer and my sister Feb 2nd 2010 also to cancer. The other night I was singing along to this song and when I closed my eyes as I sang it I could see my dad and my sister holding hands coming to the bottom of this beautiful stair case made of marble and gold railings. It was like they came down from the stairs of heaven to let me know they are okay and happy. This song has come to have soo much meaning to me after that happened.

This song reminds me of a time I was so down that I took my own life and it was by sheer luck and twist of fate that my Dad forgot his lunch when he went to work one morning so he had to return home to get it... scary to think if he hadn't come home and found me lifeless only to CPR me back into existence I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. When I started driving, mom would take me to the cenetery where my dad was to practice. (He died suddenly, 9 days before i turned 3). The first few times we did this, this song started as soon as we got near dads grave. We took it as him letting us know he was with us. My 72 year old grandpa was diagnosed with rectal cancer last June now the cancer has already metastasized to the other organs everyday his health is deteriorating with our last resort having him intubated. Oh man this song hits home.. A few days ago on October 7th I lost a very good friend of mine. He was hit by a car at 9:18pm while crossing a bouldevard and suffered a traumatic head injury that resulted in death. Words cannot express how much I miss and love him, I never got to tell him that I loved him but I'm sure he knew because my actions showed it. He was only in my life for 2 months but meeting him was the best chance encounter I've ever experienced. We met on the train one morning when I was heading to work and I noticed he kept looking at me, we exchanged smiles but something told me to get his number before he got off at his stop and so I did. His face turned so red when I asked him to put his number in my phone ha. As soon as i got to work i was texting him non stop and we just grew close to each other. We talked on the phone for hours every night until one of us fell asleep on the other. Last time we spoke on 9/20/15 I wasn't very kind to him because I wasn't having the best day and I took it out on him... I feel so terrible for doing that to him because now I can't apologize to him or hug him and tell him I didn't mean it. I'm trying to keep my sanity and be strong for him and his family but it's so hard and i've been a wreck for days. I've never lost someone close to me until now and it's the worst feeling in the world. He was a real life angel and I just feel so lucky to have known him and share memories with him. His viewing is today and I hope I can keep it together because I'm breaking down.. Please if you love someone tell them while you have the chance to and do not hold grudges it isn't worth it. I lost my dad a year ago today to cancer and my sister Feb 2nd 2010 also to cancer. The other night I was singing along to this song and when I closed my eyes as I sang it I could see my dad and my sister holding hands coming to the bottom of this beautiful stair case made of marble and gold railings. It was like they came down from the stairs of heaven to let me know they are okay and happy. This song has come to have soo much meaning to me after that happened.

This song reminds me of a time I was so down that I took my own life and it was by sheer luck and twist of fate that my Dad forgot his lunch when he went to work one morning so he had to return home to get it... scary to think if he hadn't come home and found me lifeless only to CPR me back into existence I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. When I started driving, mom would take me to the cenetery where my dad was to practice. (He died suddenly, 9 days before i turned 3). The first few times we did this, this song started as soon as we got near dads grave. We took it as him letting us know he was with us. Then over the years when I'd b really down or worried, I'd hear this and know he was saying its gonna be OK. This is a precious song to me. Your rendition is the most emotional, touching, Beautiful one I've ever heard. I prefer yours even to Eric Clayton's

My 72 year old grandpa was diagnosed with rectal cancer last June now the cancer has already metastasized to the other organs everyday his health is deteriorating with our last resort having him intubated. Eu perdi meu pai em 2003 eu tinha 17. Ele teve um câncer e no período em que o estado estava avançado da doença, eu tive um desmaio e ele me colocou em seus braços chorando ,mesmo sem forças. Essa imagem jamais saira da minha cabeça. E quando penso nele eu vejo que ele foi um guerreiro e está com Deus. Eu tenho orgulho dele. Apesar de tudo sinto sua falta.

Oh man this song hits home.. A few days ago on October 7th I lost a very good friend of mine. He was hit by a car at 9:18pm while crossing a bouldevard and suffered a traumatic head injury that resulted in death. Words cannot express how much I miss and love him, I never got to tell him that I loved him but I'm sure he knew because my actions showed it. He was only in my life for 2 months but meeting him was the best chance encounter I've ever experienced. We met on the train one morning when I was heading to work and I noticed he kept looking at me, we exchanged smiles but something told me to get his number before he got off at his stop and so I did. His face turned so red when I asked him to put his number in my phone ha. As soon as i got to work i was texting him non stop and we just grew close to each other. We talked on the phone for hours every night until one of us fell asleep on the other. Last time we spoke on 9/20/15 I wasn't very kind to him because I wasn't having the best day and I took it out on him... I feel so terrible for doing that to him because now I can't apologize to him or hug him and tell him I didn't mean it. I'm trying to keep my sanity and be strong for him and his family but it's so hard and i've been a wreck for days. I've never lost someone close to me until now and it's the worst feeling in the world. He was a real life angel and I just feel so lucky to have known him and share memories with him. His viewing is today and I hope I can keep it together because I'm breaking down.. Please if you love someone tell them while you have the chance to and do not hold grudges it isn't worth it.
