This deployment doesn't look like you're assaulting an enemy-held factory to me. Looks more like your team had coincidentally stopped by to use the shitter when the enemy assaults. You can start with one of your guys still on the porcelain. All the weapons are on the assaulting vehicles, there are still workers in the building, etc.

@@zspekt The idiom, "digging yourself into a hole", is usually used when someone does or says something embarrassing then tries to explain their actions. This explanation ends up only making the situation more embarrassing. In this case the usage is a little bit different. I believe it's used because CPG starts going off on a lengthy tangent that's mostly unrelated to what he's about to do, and he keeps adding to the tangent in an effort to make it relate to the point he was trying to make (only it never does). At least, that's how I understood it.
@@averin1745 No, in this case the use was because he started this off giving a lengthy explanation of his planning and how it was all supposed to play out perfectly, all for it to go to absolute shit. It was great foreshadowing xD

Pro Tip: The assaulters will actually stop sprinting when given a different command like looking, crouching or nades.
And cancel some of those whrn ordered to sprint. But you should never sprint when you can encounter enemies.
@@projectpitchfork860 idk if they changed it but sprinting soldiers will sprint no matter what. Even with 5 aks pointed at them theyll push through
@@smokecrash2147 they certainly have now. I know because I always give them commands but forget to have them sprint again when it's convenient
When using the sprint command, as soon as you give the operator a different command (aim/handheld/suppress/etc.) it will automatically cancel the sprint for you!

Holy crap. The start of that really felt like an onward match, where we were rushed by the other team and we took more time organizing. We had one guy with a marksman rifle left (sadly, he didn't make it either.)
Kudos continuing through the level even with that many casualties! That was so intense at the end. And I absolutely laughed out loud at the "the sound of me digging a massive hole" scroll at the start 🤣

Little bit scary that at 15:54, Drummer never glanced left to check between the pipes. Complacency kills.
I saw that too and was like wait check it!
I believe there was a far larger chance of an enemy being on the door end of the hallway as opposed to the narrow pipe end. Almost the entire enemy force was in the middle or bottom of the map, so a random one hiding at the top would be much less likely to occur. The enemies we did see in that building primarily moved there from the middle so he knew where most of his angles of attack would be.

@@daileygaming9488 I completely agree that if he had two people then he should've pied off both hallways for safety. Unfortunately, he only had one guy and he reasonably decided to peek the door end since it was in the direction of a room with enemies.
I'm not saying he made a bad call, just imagine if there was someone and he never checked there you know? He won in the end, so he made a good call nonetheless
Damn, that update really switched the advantage over to OPFOR in several ways. I like it. Sure, we have new ways of dealing with them, but that suppression is brutal, as it should be.
Are they getting suppression from rifles? It looks like it. Which is a bit unfair, but then again we can think so...
You can suppress from your rifles too, just only on auto shoot and not manual like machine guns.
It’s just normally if your rifle gets line of sight, the enemies die before they become suppressed.
Turns out the smg insurgents carry ap rounds and a crazy rate of fire, also more common insurgents carry differents ammo now

about the new suppression mechanic, I replayed one of the maps I made a while back and found that with the new mechanic, it forces you to go quiet, or your assault team gets killed. I really like that, because now I can use a similar technique to form how a map has to be completed. I think I’ll use this new knowledge a lot in the future

That start was wild. I had no issue with it the first time I played it, only because the assaulters are naturally discriminatory towards civilians.
I executed your exact plan. Had an M4 escort the 249 to set up across the hood of the car watching center lane. Then pushed all M4's through the north door and cleared the compound. Left one in the center "main front door" to watch for counter attacks from the eastern most room.
I don't remember clearing the street, they probably flowed into my M4/249 pair in the opening act.
1 assualter left, 1 uncleared bathroom. My heart was racing🤣
"I was gonna come in here, guns blazing, and blow up everything" Best line ever! And he wasn't even kidding, that one dude was carrying enough grenades to literally blow up everything.

Watching Fili get murdered by four guys (who were ready & waiting for him) as soon as he popped out the second time from behind that bus was brutal! 19:48 Also, it would be cool to see this mission a second time.
