Dude is the most unpretentious but knowledgable guy on YT. Not only does he have all of this commercial grade heavy equipment but he knows how to operate and maintain every one of them. And as if that wasn't enough, he's one of the best cinematographers and film editors out there. You'd think that he has a full film crew following him around always seeming to have the camera in the exact right location as he works. You're incredible, Andrew.

So that is an old industrial landing of some type with a sandbar near the colliery. They used to pole barges all over New York, that's where the US is a lot like the UK with the canals and coal, right up to the 50s and 60s. Yeah it's a paper mill, complete with big Mercury runoff channel literally. They'd dump the mercury runoff from paper into the log chute where the logs were floated in, typically same chute. 1827 puts this in the UK Industrial Age adolescence. 1827 predates steam railroads by a good margin.

What a difference that place is now!! They should add your name to that list of donors as you helped out with the clearing of the site! Keep up the great work 👍💯

Interesting the name of the site, I’m watching this video from Sheffield city in the UK. Always find it funny seeing the names of UK towns and cities used again in places such as the US, presumably by people with some kind of connection to the uk place. Great video as always

Thanks for the update, I honestly liked it better the way it was the first time you visited. I love industrial ruins like that. Nice to see them finding a way to keep it safe and keep it relevant for the next generation though.

That original video is the one that got me subscribed, watching timelapses of big machines cleaning stuff up while doing other stuff is great.

I remember Andrew cleaning up that mess in the coal bin. The gravel really did spruce up the look of the place. Nice, they can make something useful out of a ruin.
