A rainy Manhattan in the evening is my favorite. The wet streets reflecting all the lights, the occasional car honking, and the glow of a fading sun, you captured it beautifully.
I miss the rain so much! I grew up where it rained all the time but now I live where it almost never rains. Drinking coffee, watching the rain in Greenwich Village. Thanks AK.
You make the walk so interesting it almost feels like i’m there to, that my friend is a gift not many have! Thank you so much to let me follow your walk😃
Greenwich Village is one of New York's most historically rich neighborhoods, and among the most highly coveted. Its eye-catching architecture spans all eras, and the neighborhood has long attracted artists, writers, musicians, and actors. In the present day, it is home to excellent shopping, dining, nightlife, cultural institutions, and top schools and services.
A very enjoyable walk today and now in the village. I prefer these walks to the scooter jaunts. I have enjoyed your treks for more than a year now, in the area and out to other areas. Keep up the excellent work! CHEERS
Thanks a lot AK for sharing another video of your walk in the rain in NYC on May 28. Even with the rain, there is life on the streets in NYC and your video reflex the somber mood of a city that is coming out of a long sleep thanks to the pandemic. The rain adds to the mood, showing the city being baptized into its new dawn. Thanks again AK for all your hard work and enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend.
It is similar weather here raining as well, but then it makes it more mild as its winter here, I thought it was summer there and you have low temps. Yesterday it was 17.C then a few nights ago it was -4.C and that is cold for this early in winter. That thing you mentioned eminent domain, I think that is the same as we call Compulsory Acquirement. Its nice watching this inside at night as the rain beats down on the Metal roof.
Action Kid I used to video the reflection of the city lights in the water on the wet streets sse if u can get some more shots of that beautiful city light reflection magical!!!PS I see you got it in this Vid looks great GOOD JOB some more rainy nights!!!
Minneta has that burger everyone seems to love. Try it if you can. Order it at the bar. Unfortunately you have to be very early or very late to get it as it goes fast.
The stream begins next to the New York's legendary jazz venue Smalls. Shout out to the managers and staff of Smalls, as well as all the musicians and patrons. Smalls managed to survive the pandemic, even though if was on the brink of closing. Smalls is streaming its shows live for free on youtube on the @SmallsLive channel. They did that even when they could not have any live audience, and now when their capacity is limited.
Pretty good. Great effort, but you missed St Marks street which is as iconic as McDougal's, made short shrift of Cafe Reggio probably the most iconic and famous café in NY or anywhere in the country, been featured in countless movies and songs. Also barley acknowledged the Bitter End, and incredibly famous comedy club, and did not acknowledge at all the red iconic NYU library building across form WA. Sq. Park., one of the most famous libraries in New York. Also a bit bias as I went to Grad school at NYU :-) But your work ethic is awesome.
Hi Actionkid, I owe you an apology, as I said during one of your last scooter streams to please not go to Times Square. That is just from my personal experience having grew up in Brooklyn, and every time I have gone to Times Square I have been assaulted and always had a problem. I always respect you and your stream for going places and showing me my home city as it progresses and evolves. Thank you for that, peace

there is even the building located in Greenwich village in which the most popular tv show was shot.
Been to NYC 3 times but never Greenwich Village, which looks great even in the rain. Also, 24:10 grafitti erm...

Hello from Krakow, Poland :)
Hello from Vietnam!
6:01 Classic NYC, people blocking the crosswalk with their big ass SUVs so everyone has go around them.
Very nice walk. People in New York sure like restaurants. So many 😳
Indeed, so many restaurants to choose from!
Kind of stress buster seeing your videos. Do a lot more with extended building views too.

Love the video. How do you achieve smooth video while walking? I tend to get some shaky footage with the G6 when i am walking?

I can understand where the mentality of Times Square being unsafe comes from.
Very nice 🌺

Funny how business is obvious from the trash on the curb🌆
