Because of Mr. Marcano, I attained my first articles of incorporation at 19 years old, played at the Regal tent with Boyie Mitchel, Auther DeCotaux arrangements, with Mr. Liverpool, (Chalkdust) Mr. Pope (Mighty Duke), played at the first all year tent in 1976, had a regular gig every week at Town and Country Resturant, La Puerta Ave, Diego Martin, Record songs on his album, named his son, thaught almost everything to know about calypso art form, advertising knowledge, performance skills, how to be successful in America, guitar lessons, meet Explainer, we became Ujama Rythum band, Ujama dances, played behind Calypsonians, Twggie just came on the sean, Supie helped nurtured, Mudada just coming on the sean all before I was 21 years old when I left Trinidad. He is my second dad, praise God.
Mr Marcano's radio station, thaught me how to take an abstract idea , and make it real. I saw father Superior get impregnated with the radio station battle for culture, you know the rest!
