I’ve gained so much respect for Kurt over the last few years. If you told me 5 years ago that Kurt would be one of my favorite drivers I would have thought you were crazy!
I was a Rusty Wallace fan until he retired, then Kurt took his car and I've stuck with him since and believe me there were some awful low times. Kurt's mouth got him in shit repeatedly but I stuck with him and an proud I did.
For sure. There was a time I really couldn’t stand Kurt. He then got the shaft from Penske and I went “wait a minute” and been pulling for him ever since, not just on the track.
@@davenickel2448 Same here, went from Rusty to Kurt. I wasn't planning it, but when he got bounced from the 2 I still found myself pulling for him. He's matured into the best elder statesman among active drivers.
Kurt has transformed from a temperamental kid to one of NASCAR’s most respected veteran faces. He has a sure shot career in the booth when he retires. Has that ability to bring you into the car , much like Tony Romo puts you in the huddle
I love that he drives his GT. I can't stand to see cars like that being put up and never driven. He's come a long way since his days of screaming incomprehensible gibberish rage over the radio
Straight Up. I am not what you would call a huge fan of the Busch Brothers. However, this video absolutely blew me away. Here is a guy who loves His Dodge, loves His Fords, loves His Chevy, and loves His VW. Down through history, there have been moments of GREATNESS from most legacy auto manufacturers. It's great to see someone who actually appreciates that. I briefly met, or should I say walked by both Kurt and his brother Kyle at a half mile track in Delaware, Ontario, Canada. That event was an absolute demonstration of just HOW GOOD these Nascar Cup Series Racers are. Kyle was actually here the previous year as well for a one off event. Here was a guy at a track he'd never seen before, in a local car he'd never driven, who started last, won the race, AND set a track record. WOW! Kyle said he had a blast and invited Kurt to come join him the following year. As I recall, during practice that day, Kyle set another track record and Kurt beat the record Kyle had set the previous year, again using locally built cars which race here weekly. Absolutely amazing. As a fan who has been to several races at this track, it blew me away at how much speed they could carry into turn 3 and yet still make it SMOOTHLY though to turn 4. Their hands barely moved on the steering wheels, unlike what you generally observe with the regular drivers. Unfortunately, both were taken out in incidents that evening so neither actually won the race but it was still a thrilling experience to be there.
I wanna see Kurt Busch win some more NASCAR Cup races! One of my favorite celebrators! He is actually getting pumped up and just truly loves that he won for all of his people and makes the after the race coverage of a drivers reaction worth watching! He wins every year and he’s just always been one of the best, no matter his age.
Kurt & Kyle are my favorite drivers. They’re the best brother duo in NASCAR History and that’s saying a lot. They’re individually 2 of The GOATS as pure wheelmen.
Every single Nascar champion will have one. You don't have to be brothers. Those man caves are not just hobbies, they are a record of the brand they created over the decades. Kurt Busch is his own brand and Kyle is his own brand. It's not about doing it because my brother did it, let's not forget that their brand is also their business. Cheers!
I've had the pleasure to work With Kurt for the past few years, through GearWrench and I can tell you that he is just as nice in person. Love the Cobra and the Gearwrench tool boxes Kurt!!
Thanks Kurt for the tour. Love your passion especially for muscle cars. You have a great car collection. I do like that bright orange Camaro. Due too your Dad's wisdom, we can see he was right in choosing that awesome colour for your VW Bug. May you have great success with your new team 23XI Racing throughout your 23rd season in the NASCAR Cup Series.
I love the bug!!! My brother just bought me a 1969 completely restored bug. 30 year dream come true! Thank you so much for showing these cars. Absolutely stunning.
This is awesome stuff. Kurt's been fun watching over the years. I remember the young kid playing the heel and now he's more like Bill Elliot was. Just fun to watch and always working.
My dad had a 69 Camaro just like yours. Same color even the white leather seats. I really miss that car. Dad was going to give it me but back then times were tough and he had to sell it. He regretted that decision till the day he passed. Some day I will have one like dads.
Kurt Busch is an incredible story teller. The meaning behind the automobiles is as important as the cars themselves. Thank you for this fun video please keep em coming!!!
My first car was also a VW Bug. When I graduated high school in 1966 my parents bought me a light green 1961 Bug that I later painted bright yellow. It was a fantastic car and I wish I still had it.
He's been my favorite NASCAR driver ever since he stepped foot in the #97 Rubbermaid Ford! He literally has the same birthday as me too, Aug 4th 1978! 👍🖖🤯😅
I typed "Cool NASCAR Garage Decoration Ideas" into TH-cam. This video popped up. I thought I was on a roll with my plans and modifications to my own garage until I seen this setup....objectives reorganized....👍; I hope to reach this level of epicness. Hopefully I can become a racecar driver some day.
KURT YOU THE MAN..... I'm a KB fan but I will always be a Kurt Busch fan. I have watched every single race u have raced in Nascar. Daytona 500 2021 Baby....... go win it
I’ve followed Kurt Bush since before he won the championship. Whatever his personal problems he was always a talented driver.I’m so glad to see his redemption to me he was always the underdog and the wild card.
haha we have the same first car. i was going to get a 63 notchback but the oldman gpa wanted the 64 vw we turned into a baja because we lived on a dirt rd. thanks for sharing kurt i love your collection
I love the way he speaks, explaining everything mechanically while keeping humor and stories to keep it light, so lovely

I could probably listen to him talk for hours, everything has meaning or a story.
Yeah he can talk well
Kurt's passion for cars never ceases to amaze us. KB1 in '21!

I think that's a really good comparison
if jeff gordon ever leaves the booth to run hendrick, kurt should be his replacement

Kurt & Kyle are 2 of thee greatest wheel men to ever race a stock car.
@@dr.jackkevorkian1119 got to see them go wheel to wheel at Kentucky in 2019 for the win

Stop bitching about people do with their own cars and by them and do what you want with it instead. Until then stfu poor boy

Kurt’s car collection is one of a very few that I like every single car, Kurt always has seemed like a cool guy to hang with.
Agreed. A good mix of everything
That ain't never going to happen.
“Hi I’m Kurt Busch, if you don’t use GearWrench tools, then [____] you.” Kurt Busch, 2020
HAHA! I remember him saying it!
@Samuel Madera lol
I think we all can agree that Kurt had an epic heel turn to face. And now we all respect him and like him. Congrats to him! Awesome collection
The more Kurt Busch content the better.
Thanks NASCAR
Want to tip beers with Kurt and just talk. Dude is highly intelligent

Great video. Kurt's been my favorite since his 97 car days
Imagine being so rich you buy a nascar cup car at auction, then return it for free because it kept leaking oil
You mean Marking it’s Spot.
Funny thing. Kurt prob. Richer than person who did it
i mean it was for a donation so i guess it dosnt really matter if he kept it or naw
I would be there's a little more to that story.
Like 2019 he should drive one of these cars as his throwback ngl
Thanks Kurt you need the 97 Mac the knife car you won Bristol with I have a model you signed for me.
That was so cool, listening to Kurt's stories and see the car to go with them.🏁🏁🏁😃👍🏁🏁👍🏁.

The fact the camaro has a sprint car is awesome 🤘🤘🏁

Funny that his 3 favorite cars are Ford powered when he currently drives Chevys
to be fair hes driven ford most of his career

Boy we all loved to hate him when he was a young punk with no respect. But now he is an awesome veteran of the sport and I route for him to win.
I love Kurt Busch of his collection
Awsome cars with stories!
I hope every driver can do this it’s cool
Kurt has my respect for driving a DeTomaso Pantera instead of letting it sit as a museum piece.
Love that Taurus
I freaking love Kurt lol
Dale Jr car collection must be epic especially his collection of crashed cars
Awesome man! Never realized you were a Ford man. Also, I luv the bug. I had a "63" California custom style with a fiberglass tilt front-end.
Cool that he has different manufacturers and stuff. He's driven everything, so he should.
Love it Kurt. Been my favorite driver since 03. Don’t know what I’ll do when you retire. Stick around for 800 starts!
Same. I cant even think of another driver to really be a fan of after
My first car was also a 64 Bug that my dad paid $400. We worked on it together, great memories.
