it's insane to me how this guy just drops one of the most legendary prog metal albums in existence and then just vanishes into thin air. he's like a messiah to prog metal

Wladimir Putin yeah I’ve found some stuff here and there since this album was recorded but nothing solid unfortunately. That’s alright it’s perfect. One day maybe we’ll get more.
I ended up buying the album twice, so, at least with me your mission was a success. I posted it to a prog group on fB to some success - sadly a lot of people there are too stuck in the past.
in a moment, I feel this is dated. then, I feel, this is timeless. his phrasing makes this release stand way above. sure there are a lot of great players...but its writing and composition that we remember.......11 years later...a master class. thank you for the inspiration.
Piotrek Gruszka, you're a legend!! Please continue making beautiful music and being the creative genius that you are. As a fan of technical music, improvisational, and avant-garde, I will say that I am so incredibly amazed at the level of craftsmanship this album embodies. Pure, future, relevant, cosmic, timeless, soulful, and beautiful. This is something I want with me when I die. It's so cosmically me. I haven't heard a musician light a fire in me since I first heard of Buckethead back in the late 90's. This album is on a cosmic level of traveling and just being. Both are so timeless in their crafts and cosmic expressions. I love music :) You can compare this album to some of John Coltrane albums, but next-generational level. Future. Gru is the future.

What makes this album so distinctive is that Gru knows exactly when to play less, and that's very special for modern prog
This... I'm not against 16th note parts but jesus do a lot of them sound like the same rehashed phrases.
The playing less is a great attribute. Some people still prefer to gravitate towards full blast speed. To each their own.
Has alot to do with his interests in Game Scoring (audio). This is fully conceptual music that just so happens to be designed by a Guitar virtuoso.
