💥🔥👀🤘🏻 this song just keeps giving me goosebumps , when the album came out i had a difficult time in my life and it spun almost every day, even to this day for me it still is a masterpiece and a classic
I saw Soilwork in NYC many years ago. Havent heard of them coming to the states since. That show was insane. The whole place was a violent pit. This seems a little soft. Not a single fan moved.
They just dont hit as hard anymore, the backing vocals on this are worse than on the helsinki dvd & even that was a step back, attribute it to theyre just not young pups anymore
@@tuttomoltodisagio Are you talking about the growls from the bassist or his actual backing vocals when he sings a bit lower than Björn? Because the latter were fine actually. In the Helsinki recording they did those with backing tracks. They are barely audible, but they are there for sure. And I don't have a proble with slight enhancements like that via backing tracks, however I do prefer bands doing stuff like backings themselves if possible, so the fact that the new bassist actually sings live backings is a plus for me!
@@muenchhausenmusic when he growls in the chorus, like 1:07 soilwork live has always been a huge hit or miss, while i love incredibly their production until dirk left and they become a bit too much nightly orchestra influenced. i know swedish melodeath isnt easy to pull off live. i've heard some good performances from them live but also some very bad. this comes as 50/50. those growls from the bassist are really bad i think..i agree his clean singing lower that you mentioned doesnt sound bad, his low growl is fine too, when he goes for that skrieching high pitch growl its really bad, expecially when you have the studio version in mind that is just so good. mind me no hater, i love soilwork to death and wish all the best to the current line up as well. i just grew up with their classics
One of my favourite bands of all time

no
The only thing wrong with this recording is the vocals drown out the music, and their music is fuckin amazing.
I swear Bastian is Charlie Watts.
And the crowd goes mild...
Whats wrong with the audience? Feels like they're playing for a bunch of wooden logs ffs...
Awesome performance but the crowd looks trash lol

love classic soilwork, those backing vocals were awful indeed hhaha

@@tuttomoltodisagioThis!! Spot on!!!
I actually find that dude's growling to be an improvement over the original. It's Bjorn that's lost his pitch for that chorus....
Growls sound silly in such a poppy song of theirs
