Loved the interview with Cory - In my opinion the best one yet. Would love to have you interview Jon Delieu from Forensic Detailing .He is super smart and has a unique perspective ---- ty Owen
I’m really enjoying this series, and hoping you keep it going. Congratulations on completing the latest killer project too. Looking forward to ideas on products for the shop. God Bless!
Owen from Atlanta. FYI - I’ve been using Bilt Hamber Trace-Less since I saw Jon’s forensic detailing review. It’s incredible - in a totally different class from every other glass cleaner I’ve tried - I’m a huge OG fan - and loyal customer !!!
this is by far my favorite series as of recent, I look forward to every upload! will you be making videos of the new products you order? I think a first impressions or raw thoughts and opinions would be really cool.
Loving these videos Matt, lots of information being shared. I'd like to see you chat with Jon from Forensic Detailing. It'd be awesome if you can make that happen.
Great interview, I’m really enjoying these. Since you’re looking at getting into Bilt Hamber, I think BH auto wheel is one of the best I have ever tried.
A must for cleaning wheel wells, especially the carpeted ones: Carpro InnerScrub, or if you want dual purpose: Carpro WheelsMitt. The white scrubby material cleans carpeted wheel wells or textured plastic much better than boars hair or EZ detail. It's like having a million tiny bristles vs having a few thousand.
Loving these videos, I'm learning too...thank you! I'm going to coat my shower glass and have something on deck for any hard water spotting. What is your go to for those?
Diamond Protechs Glass coating hands down!! Has been installed on my vehicles for over a year constantly sitting outside in all of the elements and its just now getting weaker on the windshield. The rest of the glass is still repelling water okay but I am going to go ahead and do a refresh of all glass. The clarity in the rain is insane how it creates tiny little droplets so you have maximum visibility. I've never been super impressed by any glass coating mainly because of durability but this one has really taken me.
Love the video! But I will say, please do not use ammonia based cleaners on tint. As a tinter of 12 years I can guarantee that if you use it more than occasionally that you will run in to issues with the glue breaking down. Tint is porous and the cleaner will without a doubt start to deteriorate glue holding the tint to the window! Thanks for the video Matty!
i totally love what your doing with all the professionals but maybe get a few top mobile detailers and see what they do or use with their budgets and constant flow of wrk . m ay be not so much the ones with shops though in north south east and west parts of country and dosnt need to be so specific like your previous guys
Here is the problem. They usually aren't great on camera, and most get their information from guys like us. The practitioner is spending his/her time doing the job.
Sandro from Car Craft Auto Detailing could be interesting. He has extensive knowledge on the NV Car Care line. It would be nice to get a US distributor
Definitely thinking about giving Cartec Refinish compounds and polishes a crack Matt. I saw Jim from White Details getting some incredible results from them so I found a local supplier to Australia and I’ve not looked back.
Quick question on ceramic brakes. I like to use a nice conventional spray detailer such as Meguiar's to clean my wheels in between washes. I never use dedicated wheel cleaner and find the spray detailer does a fine job. Is spray detailer safe to use on wheels with ceramic brakes or will the detailer damage CCBs? Thank you for any insight.
Ceramic brakes don't require anything special for the wheels. Just clean them as needed. You still need to clean the barrels with an EZ detail brush and/or something similar.
I wonder what Levi and/or Anthony from TRC would add. These are interesting and show how there's more than one way and different products to get results.
Loving these videos, I'm currently in the process of locking in my own detailing process with tools and chemicals, and so far I'm sold on the OG method of a lot of things. Ive spent a lot of time messing with drying aids and I'm not having much luck, and wanted to see your take on this regarding the OG drying aid and how it affects towels. In the past I would use ceramic detail sprays and found they were gumming up my drying towels to the point where they don't do much absorbing, so eventually I canned that idea. Since then I use rags to riches to care for my towels so two questions: 1. Does OG drying have that tendency to "clog" up your towels? 2. Would I need to do anything different to care for my towels if I started using drying aid. I like the idea of having added lubrication to my drying process, and also having something that flashes easily and doesn't leave streaks, and also doesn't cause my towels to stop being effective. I know I could use ONR to aid the process, but I'd like to give this shot and see how it performs.
Drying Aid will beat up your towels over time, but it take a pretty long time. A year or more if you use Rags to Riches. If you are really concerned, fill a bucket with water and add Rags to Riches. Soak your freshly used towels in that bucket.
@@ObsessedGarage appreciate that tip! It's definitely a side of detailing I'm dipping my feet into and was never turned onto for those reasons, but I'll give it a shot. Keep up the videos, I enjoy listening to these talks!
Water spots vary too much. Matt did a series on his M3 after it got exposed to the irrigation system. Best practice is to not get water spots. Eliminate the cause and you don't need a cure.
I totally agree with what Corey said about you bringing more people into the detailing world. If it were not for you and also some guy named “Pan” 😂, I would not have totally revamped my garage with one of your complete wall-mounted pressure washer systems, installed cabinets, painted my walls, installed lighting, and become completely obsessed with keeping my cars clean. Thanks Matt! I mean it sincerely because I love this hobby/obsession. My wife would say the same but in a super sarcastic tone due to how much $ I have spent and continue to spend. I like these new videos because I love trying new products. I watch, pause, go to browser and add things to my cart. Right now I have a few hundred dollars of things in my cart to buy more stuff from Sky’s the Limit.
That battery crap . Lmao if it can do a 12 hr job then it could replace the cord, rotating the battery charging method. I want a duo 31e and that rupes lhr Ibrid❤
Matt- this is Owen, from Atanta, I forgot to mention--- worth considering the new EGO vacuum--- EGO 56 Volt 9 Gallon Cordless Wet/Dry--- it has an amazing blower feature- just switch the hose to make it a powerful blower- can use for nooks/cranies for drying the care. And substitutes a poor-mans air blower for interiors/ect--- great for blowing out carpet/ect with crevice tool. Great battery life. And has the same suctions the corded high suction rigids ect. It's a mobile alternative to your amazing vacuum--- it ihas the expected EGO quality --- absolutely love. I wanted to email you as well, but don't have your email.
Thanks Matt. May I suggest if you can persuade Detail Factory to come out with a beautiful foldable cart for us mobile detailers. My wish is they create them in colorful variations like they have recently released their colorful Curve Ball brushes, their tire brushes and their wheel well brushes. Convince them Matt🫡👀👌

Love Forensic Detail.👍 He is one of a kind; with a keen sense of always why it works or doesn’t work. He’s Inspector Clouseau👀
my 2 guys where i get all my stuff and listen and watch, thank you for everything keep it up
Ordered 4 more Incredipad XLs today. Appreciate you and Corey for bringing that gem to the masses.
OK I’m liking your new ideas on the buckets!!
It's not competition, it's collaboration!
Brilliant !
I think the Buckanizer is great! I use one with my OG wheel bucket.
I’m really enjoying this series, and hoping you keep it going. Congratulations on completing the latest killer project too. Looking forward to ideas on products for the shop. God Bless!
Just finished ceramic coating my new car using mainly CarPro so this was nice to see. Need Billy from Presidential next.

Yes, I'll be detailing four cars over the next few months testing a bunch of new stuff out.

P&S carpet system works pretty good

Great series. One more suggestion, after Out of Spec Detailing. The Detail Geek, based in Canada. Thanks folks.

So you’re using a quick detailer spray product to clean your wheels?
@@YuriTarded-hf1nv Yes, been doing this for 15+ years without issue.
@@logwind interesting. Never knew you could do this. Thanks

I’d like to see Phil from Detailers Domain on one of these.
For sure, he has a few German brands that don’t get a lot of attention.

Any plans for the future to have someone like LarryAMMO or other similar higher end professional detailers who do this on the daily?
This series is great
TRC new wheel mitt and they have a different styles of bug scrubbers
Matt! “What am I missing in decon?” Water spot remover!
Water spots vary too much. Matt did a series on his M3 after it got exposed to the irrigation system. Best practice is to not get water spots. Eliminate the cause and you don't need a cure.
Definitely have a bottle of descale on hand .
Kamikaze collections water spot product is a good one. I think GYEON also has their own product
Koch Chemie FSE is my go to.
So I have to know. Do most people ask for a Red Rinse Vinyl Logo and Blue Wash Vinyl Logo? I would think so since red usually mean stop/bad/danger.
Some do. We have both.
Also mircofiber madness has a bug scrubber
Another comment from Atlanta. Bilt Hamber Ferosol - you haven’t mentioned for Decon. It’s incredible!
You're prob thinking of Korrosol. Ferosol is a lubricant.
Yes ! Thanks - that’s what I meant.
Oberk squash last about 10 minutes, and smells more like sandalwood than the classic air Spencer squash.

Ditto - everything from SwissTrax to multiple DAs now purely from Matt whom I’ve watch consistently since 2016 ❤
why no BILT HAMBER ?

Im dying to get all I want in my wishlist ❤
Cali sux to get chems
