Im sure if the nanny had ANY SENSE she would NEVER agree to be involved with such a high profile entertainment couple and if the facts were true that there are video tapes of the three of them together that's on the nanny. And its been reported that Stpehen gave the nanny 300,000 to have an abortion paid out of Mel B money. So thats one thing I find fault with Mel B. If you allow other women in your bedroom and put up with it it will bite you back in the ass later and now there is proof that she was bisexual and open to that type of risque lifestyle n her marriage.

I had to quit a job i loved after he attacked me in the parking lot where i worked with a knife to my throat and move in with a friend. Thankfully a co worker arrived and chased him off, It took years to stop looking over my shoulder for him. I still have panic triggers 35 yrs. later

I was about to say that abusers will manipulate you. They will lovebomb you and make you think they are in love with you and will do anything for you. I thought so! I noticed she has always been in and out and didn't seem happy and looked beaten. I went through this very a slight period with a boyfriend and an emotionally abusive ex husband. The police often threatened to take my child and put him in foster care. Therefore, I didn't call for help any more. My dad was a beater. I know how this works. I can see it on her face in so many places. My ex husband has told me I should have died. The people she worked with should feel like scum! Belafonte is the devil walking! My dad also told me, "You need to get a divorce, or else your husband's going to come up missing." Men know men, just like women know each other.

This is insane that she put up with all that for so long. But some women do put up with violence for long periods as the abusers also blame the ones they abuse and relentlessly undermine their self-esteem. Plus, they also usually isolate their abused partners from friends and family to the point they have no one to reach out to. I've heard of this happening from people I know until it has become almost a familiar pattern.
The brain, for protection and not to deal with the trauma, can’t process what happened and starts to believe that the victim is to blame. There are a lot of studies on this. That’s why people should leave at the first warning, sign. If you forgive one, you are in deep trouble. But since abuse happens by phases, the abuser seems good, then the abuser likes to present themselves as victim of society or exes or whatever and then the first abuse is so traumatizing that the victi, either faces it was horrible and leaves or blocks that to survive. But to leave is most of the times, for a lot, not easy, sometimes people don’t have where to go, someone to talk etc. if you have to stay, secretly make a pact to yourself that you will leave, no matter how long it takes. NEVER, not even in a heated fight say that to the abuser. And start making a plan, financial and personal. Good luck and God be with you to all the victims out there.
You can't call the police about a woman being abused by her man. Unfortunately. You can only wait for her to ask for help and when she does use that window to help her before she changes her mind. Only with children can you call the police if you suspect that they are.

Stephen's older brother tried to warn Mel not to get married to him because Stephen loves volienece. He also told Mel Stephen's main intentions were focused on destroying her. Stephen didn't get along with his older brother & they fist fought alot. Stephen also beat a poor duck to death because he liked seeing blood & done time for beating his ex wife...He is sadistic. It got so bad Mel's sister went to the press to call for help after Mel left Eddie Murphy (early in their relationship )& their mother went on Twitter to plea by exposing Stephen for verbally abusing her different times of the night. Speaking from experience, it starts with conditioning and isolation. Abusers are sly and very good at what they do. For me, my ex made sure to act almost like a savior to my family always there to lend a hand or help out financially. Then he started telling me how toxic my family and friends were. Before I knew it I had no support people in my life, those that were still in my life thought the sun rose and set with my ex. He could do no wrong.... Needless to say it's a hell of a way to live.

I thought so! I noticed she has always been in and out and didn't seem happy and looked beaten. I went through this very a slight period with a boyfriend and an emotionally abusive ex husband. The police often threatened to take my child and put him in foster care. Therefore, I didn't call for help any more. My dad was a beater. I know how this works. I can see it on her face in so many places. My ex husband has told me I should have died. The people she worked with should feel like scum! Belafonte is the devil walking! My dad also told me, "You need to get a divorce, or else your husband's going to come up missing." Men know men, just like women know each other.

This is insane that she put up with all that for so long. But some women do put up with violence for long periods as the abusers also blame the ones they abuse and relentlessly undermine their self-esteem. Plus, they also usually isolate their abused partners from friends and family to the point they have no one to reach out to. I've heard of this happening from people I know until it has become almost a familiar pattern.

The brain, for protection and not to deal with the trauma, can’t process what happened and starts to believe that the victim is to blame. There are a lot of studies on this. That’s why people should leave at the first warning, sign. If you forgive one, you are in deep trouble. But since abuse happens by phases, the abuser seems good, then the abuser likes to present themselves as victim of society or exes or whatever and then the first abuse is so traumatizing that the victi, either faces it was horrible and leaves or blocks that to survive. But to leave is most of the times, for a lot, not easy, sometimes people don’t have where to go, someone to talk etc. if you have to stay, secretly make a pact to yourself that you will leave, no matter how long it takes. NEVER, not even in a heated fight say that to the abuser. And start making a plan, financial and personal. Good luck and God be with you to all the victims out there.

You can't call the police about a woman being abused by her man. Unfortunately. You can only wait for her to ask for help and when she does use that window to help her before she changes her mind. Only with children can you call the police if you suspect that they are.

Stephen's older brother tried to warn Mel not to get married to him because Stephen loves volienece. He also told Mel Stephen's main intentions were focused on destroying her. Stephen didn't get along with his older brother & they fist fought alot. Stephen also beat a poor duck to death because he liked seeing blood & done time for beating his ex wife...He is sadistic. It got so bad Mel's sister went to the press to call for help after Mel left Eddie Murphy (early in their relationship )& their mother went on Twitter to plea by exposing Stephen for verbally abusing her different times of the night. It is a God damn shame Mel waited until her father pass to wake up & expose Stephen without her father's presence to witness her belated courage. I felt sad for Mel because Stephen isolated loyal Mel from her entire family & she ignored all the red flags. Mel really did needed to take care of herself & needed to slow down straight after Eddie Murphy.

I believe her; her leaving and going back to him is common with domestic violence survivors. They will leave several times before they give up on the relation and leave permanently. The most dangerous time for them is when they are leaving the abuser and unfortunately some women are murdered by their abuser when this occurs.

my best friend was in this situation with children. ..her ex was very manipulative, conniving, and mentally and physically abusive. it was very difficult for her to leave but she ended up leaving him and moved to a different state and had her name changed. this happened 10 years ago and she still has trust issues with men. she has dated one 1 man for only 2 months in ten years.

Yes. I adore Mel; she's funny and charismatic. But that reality show was his doing and it was obvious that it wasn't reality -- totally scripted and not worthy of Mel and her daughters. You felt his control, absolutely.

Then having kids involved makes it 10times harder. To those of u commenting saying it couldn't have been u, u don't know the half. These men come as sheep in wolves clothing. In the beginning their true character and intentions do not show. So I find it rude and disrespectful as a woman who has been abused by a lover, to hear women or ppl say we are stupid for staying or tell us we are lying and making it all up. Speaking from experience, it starts with conditioning and isolation. Abusers are sly and very good at what they do. For me, my ex made sure to act almost like a savior to my family always there to lend a hand or help out financially. Then he started telling me how toxic my family and friends were. Before I knew it I had no support people in my life, those that were still in my life thought the sun rose and set with my ex. He could do no wrong.... Needless to say it's a hell of a way to live.

I WOULD GET UPSET WHEN I USED MY CELL PHONE IN VAN WITH FRIENDS. I WOULD USE IT ANYWAY BECAUSE IT IRRITATED HER. SHE WOULD MY LEG AND ARM TO GET PUT OF BED TO GO TO THE HAIR SALON WHERE HER FRIEND WORKED OR SKIPPING A DOCTOR'S APPT. THIS HAPPENED ABOUT 10 TO 20 TIMES IN 2021. THE BED HAS 3 STEPS SO I WAS ALWAYS AFRAID THAT I WOULD FALL AND HIT MY HEAD ON THE STAIRS TO THE BED. I FINALLY TALKED TO MY COUSIN IN CHICAGO WHO WAS A CPD INVESTIGATOR. SHE TOLD THAT SHE COULDN'T TOUCH ME OR I COULD HAVE HER ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT. SHE NEVER GRABBED ME AGAIN. SHE HAS PUSHED ME WHEN MY DAD WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND I WAS GIVING HIM MY CELL PHONE TO TALK WITH HIS 3RD WIFE. CHERYL THE PHONE AND THREW IT ON THE BED NEXT TO MY DAD AND PUSHED ME 3 TIMES. THIS WAS AROUND 2009. SHE HAS CALLED ME BITCH ON 2 OCCASIONS.
