Nope, if you look clearly, the scout trooper that shouts freeze at Leia also has a gap in his helmet, as if his head was too big for it. Most of the others fit well, but trust me that one did. It just depended on the actual real person they put in the costumes! Awesome Review J!
I love the Scout Troopers so much that I bought this figure off e-Bay today whilst on my break in work without previously seeing any review videos, and now, after watching this, I'm so glad I did! I can totally relate to your brother as I bought the TESB Darth Vader last week, (my very first Hot Toy) and I'm still a little terrified of touching him! Paying this kind of money, (even for 2nd hand), I was hesitant of even taking him out of the damn box!
What i could find the thing on the back of his belt is supposedly a thermal detonator aswell (could be wrong but that was the only answer i could find) and the backpack on his back is a power unit pack and it has storage for extra equipment.
the canister on the back is just a design because in the original trilogy they based a lot of the imperial armor of off nazi uniforms. mostly the officers. but the canister on the storm troopers were a thing carried by nazi soldiers in world war 2. they used a lot of world war 2 surplus because it was cheap at the time and there was a lot of it. thats why most star wars guns are actually just world war 2 guns made to look cool and sci fi
I really wanna try swapping the bodies on the old Sideshow clones so they hold up better, but I'm too afraid of breaking the torso armor while getting it off. I just want my Fives to be free of his aging loose joints.
I always want hot toys but every character I want has horrible latex or materials that crack if you pose them at all. Wish these expensive figures were more pose friendly.
I want them to make a tie pilot because there's no other good action figure version of a tie pilot the vintage collection figures aren't great because you can't put much detail into them and the black series one is skinny and ugly I just want a figure that exactly represents the amazing design of the original trilogy tie pilot

The back piece is a thermal detonator. Great video!!

This is basically based on Battlefront 2. But on the other hand, it makes sense that the SCOUT trooper covers the sniper/dmr roll.
Somehow I missed that the scout had the sniper rifle.....so now I very likely will pick this one up too 🥲 BFII needs representation
I love seeing the scout trooper with different armaments like sniper rifles and stuff
Picked this up today for a really good deal. Just a really cool figure especially with his rifle displayed.
Great review hope you review the new tvc clone soon and the stormtrooper!
That scout is just beautiful?

A very gorgeous figure for sure. But definitely if Hot Toys release a tie pilot that'll be a day one purchase for me since I'm a tie fanatic.
Oh yeah this is a beaut, grats on him bro!

Just in case no one answerd your question. That's called Thermaldetonator 03:46
and now we need General weir
I hope hot toys makes some bf 2 inspired figures
I just realized the sniper rifle is an MG34 with a scope on it
I need this

How long do you plan to keep toy collecting? Have you ever thought about what would happen to your toys if when they are like 80 years old?
