👑Extremely impressive physical AND mental performance from Vingegaard. It’s not easy to keep the power high in a breakaway when there’s a competitor riding your wheel the entire time.
Thank you for these highlights. There hasn't ever been this much cycling coverage on the internet and you are at the forefront of it with the World Tour races. Thanks for bringing these always.
Seriously impressed with that. 20km out. Looks like he did an awful lot of pulling there for Landa, and still took the stage! And Landa (a good rider for sure!) saw once more that these are the guys who wins grand tours.
Agreed. To be decided by crashes and/or illness. If everyone is healthy, I’d bet on Pog in a battle of one strongman vs the strong team. Jumbo-Visma has dominated the classics but Pog got them in Flanders. It’s man vs machine. 😅
Pogacar has the edge IF......if UAE Team Emirates supplies him with a better team than last year. I think it will be better, even though no one will have the support Jumbo-Visma provides. He's good enough, though, to power through with just a decent amount of support.
@@famousatmidnight15 high mountains and July is a different place and time. Pog will certainly be hard to beat and imo the favourite, but we will see.
Happy Easter celebrations friends, enjoying cycling adventures of a kind, exploring the Holy Creation out there in the wild, yeah, looks like heavenly delight guys, big loving hug all riders, fans love youuuuu everybody out there, more cycling partnerships for everybody plizzzzzz
That was a real show of strength by Vingegaard. I think he wants to win this stage race, but he did not play the strategic game on this stage, he took a risk. He attacked and then pulled Landa. Usually, the jersey wearer marks attacks and follows his rivals, like Roglic did to Evanepoel in Catalonia. This was a show of strength. But, he also did it to Landa, not Pogacar.
I think Jonas played it perfectly. He knew better than to try and hold off a chase by himself. That's why he waited for him to get his wheel and then opened the throttle. Smart move. At the end, with 75m to go; Landa boxed himself between the barriers on his right and Jonas on his left. No way to come around Jonas in that short of opportunity. Great tactics by Jonas.
I was not expecting Jonas still have the energy to go full ham on the final sprint before the line. His physical shape has changed so much, looks like bigger legs.
Looks like it, yes. I would assume the idea behind the extra muscle is to have a chance in punchy finishes against his main rivals. Giving himself some chances to challenge the likes of Pogacar in the last 500 meters.
How often do you see Jumbo Visma’s team leader with zero teammates at the last climb? You can tell most of their top tier domestiques are prepping for Paris Roubaix this weekend.
@@GepettoGiuseppi Might be. Although he basically sat in Jonas' draft the last 3k, so idk. Jonas prolly isn't the most optimal rider to get draft from now that I think of it, lmao.
There's a word for what some of the riders did at that roundabout just about a minute into the video: cheating. Trace all of the riders who cut the corner and sanction them.
It’s relatively uninteresting racing unless in the race there are at least of the following Pogacar Vingegaard Wva Mvp Roglic And perhaps soon Remco W o at least 2 out the 5 there, we don’t much care. B c w o 2 of 5, it’s second tier racing. Landa Mas carapaz pidcock all are second tier
@@dev1ce888 cmon, he got dropped from the wheel several times - no team could have saved him from that. He lost to a stronger guy when they hit the longer climbs in the high mountains - no shame in that. Looking forward to see if he has improved this year - looking strong so far👍

I think he is ready for the Tour 🎉

Google tiz cycling my g for cycling
Vingegaard just keeps taking seconds. Well done, really wants to win. Good racing.
absolutely brilliant performance by Landa to secure second place, his career specialty.
Better than 3rd.😂
Seriously impressed with that.

So the TDF is looking like it will be a repeat of last year between Vingegaard & Pog

? It’s looked that way since August

Vinnie can’t shake Landa and beat the field by a mere 2 seconds. Meanwhile Pog is winning Flanders. It will be a Pog show only.
@@famousatmidnight15 high mountains and July is a different place and time. Pog will certainly be hard to beat and imo the favourite, but we will see.
a demostration of power!
and the giro will be evenepool against roglic and probably a few others we never know, so interesting giro and tour de france again

Amazing action! Go Landa!
JV pure athletic class with his bike

Usually, Roglic does that. He even lost his only possible win in a tour de France riding like that. Not really a "strategic" move if you ask me.

So many finish lines seem to be placed 50m after a bend making it more a sprint for the corner than for the line

@@japphan yah must've been targeted training as there had been numerous time he lost gas in final sprints against Pogi. Kudos to TJV coaching

GJ ! ! !
Landa is really surprising me this tour. But cmon, first one through the last corner will take the win
JONAS!
Landa is incredible
Now Vino is a sprinter lol 😅😅😅😅
the real KOM
Is that little max in the 1st few seconds?
Vingegaard looks like a totally different rider this year! Easily put on 5-6 kg and is much punchier
5-6 kg do you know how much that is for a cyclist??😂😂😂 even 1-2 kg makes a huuuge difference, nevermind 6 brother that is never ever possible
5-6kg more he wouldnt be able to drop anyone uphill anymore :)
Jonas Can sprint🎉🎉🎉
against climbers*
@@TheWorldisaLIE2 exactly not against pure sprinters.
Vinjagooi?
Pogacar looks stronger, tour will be very interesting
Good race
Go to winner Vingegaard👑
Landa just can't get a break
He took the very last corner like he was new to the sport, so idk what you mean with he can't catch a break.
I think landa was just way too smoked 😂

Jonas should get as many wins as he can while pog is still resting 😂.
Pog?? Oh, I remember now… the nr. 2 guy from tdf last year 👌
Fighting of 4vs1

Vingegar si fuera más inteligente.
Se habría dejado ganar hoy frente a Landa.
Haci se forman los negocios futuros.
Ojo
Bit of a division 2 field really tho isn’t it?
Vinegaard isn’t really testing himself against the top riders 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
You mean no Pog, Rog or Evenepoel? Besides them it dioesnt get much better like most of the time in Basque.
Landa being a bit of a coward i see, dissapointing...
No pog so vingo rules
Vingegaard looks weaker tbh then he did last year
It’s april. He’s not supposed to peak yet, like at all.
First
If you can't pronounce his surname maybe just call him Jonas. Hurts the ears
vingo is so blatatly dirty its not even funny anymore. farce
