I ride solo a lot and love the serenity of it . Another great video Alex! I was just there riding a couple weeks ago. Let me know if you ever get back to Steamboat. We've got some new trails for you.
Alright you sly dogs, as some of you already know, I accidentally put the Patron version of this out there to the public for a few hours while out on a ride earlier this week.... I guess to answer all of your questions, no, it was not on purpose! :P
Ah dude, I really thought you uploaded it genuinely as a little taster session. Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it - as I do with all your videos. I've just recently signed up to support our boi BKXC But, i'll definitely consider support the stoke at some point in the future. Stay safe man...AND STAY STOKED!!
Awesome video Alex! I live in North Ogden and ride this trail all the time, it's one of my favorites! Seeing you enjoy it as well makes me stoked, awesome to see my hometown trails getting some love. Keep up the great work and riding hard
So glad to see you riding the ogden area trails. My home town is often overshadowed by moab, st george, and park city, but the Wasatch front has some kickass stuff. Shred on!
Deja vu dude, but always stoked to watch your rides. The short version is just as good. And congrats on the 50K subs! You'll be at 100K before you know it!
Watching your videos got me into mountain biking coming from Dirt bikes, i bought a specialized and jumped right into it, turns out i found a new hobby i love way more, thank you
Just got my YT Capra AL Comp yesterday. Going for my first ride in a few minutes with my buddy. First time riding a MTB! Love your energy and your videos!
What's good brotha just wanted to say thank you for the awesome videos I couldn't get my brother to ride watching your videos got him stoked he bought a trek Marlin 5 and has been my riding buddy for the last few months...I just need to thank you for the awesome videos that got my brother off the PlayStation and on a bike... because of you we now have something in common ..thank you
Love your vids Alex, great content. Also, really appreciate the text overlay stuff - that's actually what won me over when I first subbed was your "Mistakes were made" video - the text and audio cues were great!
Nice! I watched the patreon edit when you first put that out, but to recap my comment. I used to live in north ogden! I've hiked that trail a couple of times when I was younger with my dad. It's weird seeing a small town like this on a big channel. You also drove by my house on the way to get there! Awesome to see you ride this. Stay stoked brother!
Yeah dude, glad you enjoyed the trail and Ogden. It's interesting to me to see how you found it so beautiful. I guess because I grew up there, I just got used to the view and scenery, so to me, it didn't that impressive, you know? So I thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, glad to see you back on the bike and are doing well. Peace out, man.
I like how when a wrench gets thrown into your ride, you maintain the stoke and make the best of it. I still think riding the other way on an out and back qualifies as a blind run. Lines end up being completely new and a little crazy.
Thanks dude, I really appreciate that - I think it's a big part of getting out on adventures: understanding that things never go according to plan and being ready to pivot. All part of the game! Also, you are totally right, I mean, I saw every switchback yet still blew into them unprepared lol
Hey Alex I'd really really really recommend you ride the wild rose it's in north salt lake and it like such a great little loop you can do a couple times you will love the decent.
You are doing great buddy.everytime you go alone in the singletrail was amazing.nice landscape, awesome excitment and smooth beer.hope to see more video from you.10 Like for you!
Nice ride. It's a lot of fun. You should hit up park city or head to draper and corner canyon. Ghost falls, vertigo, Ann's trail, levitate, and the bike park is fun to play in too. great stuff up most of the canyons as well. Enjoy Utah.
While you're in Utah you should visit the trails called Levitate and Vertigo at Corner Canyon near draper, they're only a few months old (not even on MTB Project yet) and they were built by Gravity Logic.
If you're looking for a stellar downhill the upper pipeline trail in millcreek canyon is one of my favorites for a drop off and go. But the lower trail is also so fun.
The scenery looks very similar to the trails surrounding my area here in the south east of France (southern alpes). Rocky, dry loose terrain with countless occasions to slash your tires ! If you like it grab a plane ticket and come play here :)
You gotta hit the Bobsled while you are in Salt Lake. Be careful, that trail gets a lot of blood sacrifices each year. I rode it back in 2014 and was behind a group of 12 or so college kids. Just say, one started down and heard a scrunch followed by an expletive. Next one went, repeat. Anyways, got down to the first clearing and about 4 or 5 of them had blood from crashing and one looked like he was dinged up pretty good but refused to have the doc called. The first 400 - 500 yards of the trail is the most sketchy (if you don't do the car jumps like Bo Duke) because it is really loosey goosey and step as heck. But you have the skills so you should definitely put the Bobsled notch in your repitiore! Stoke on!
What's up bro.. love the videos. Had a wreck last weekend and broke my collar bone... I had a guys weekend coming up this weekend at raccoon mountain Tn.. I guess I won't be there lol next time.. having surgery on next Tuesday to put a pin in
Cheers man. really only started getting interested in mountain biking and picking up a bike in a few weeks so your videos have me pumped to get up the hills and hitting the trails
I knew there was an accidental post! haha Great vid anyways, watching again lol I definitely be going on patron after seeing the difference in the cuts 👏👏👏 I'll still donate in the superchats tho don't worry 👍👍 Your an inspiration Alex! Stay stoked🤘
Super Rad!!! Love the views Bro.!! I was thinking of something for your elbow to help with deflection, besides wearing a elbow pad. Maybe some arm warmers that roadies wear or on the cheap some soccer socks and cut the foot off. That could help out with debris and a little cush too. Oh, and its small and light enough to throw in a small pocket in the pack or jersey. It could even be used as part of a pressure dressing in your first aid kit too if needed. Anyways, Live-Life-Loud!!
B1KER haha , I been there ! The climb is the climb haha 😂 just wish I had my 5010 now boo hoo 😢😢😢 the SANTA Cruz 5010 man what a climber ! No seriously I like the Bronson it's ok 👌
Hey Alex just wondering do you know what cube bikes are if u don't look them up ! There amazing 😉 so if u ever come to Europe then try one out !! Love your vids keep up good work
If your still I the area a need anything holla at your boy. Place to shower, im a barber so i got you covered on any of your barbering needs. Loved the vid, ill have to hit that trail on one of my days off
Huck yea homie! I appreciate the offer. Would you believe I have never been to an actual barber with this beard? One second glance in a mirror... perhaps you can :P
Sincere question: have you ever ran into a hiker? You are shredding hard around some of those blind corners and you obviously have great reflexes but I just kept thinking about a hiker being around one of those corners
Hey Alex ! You came up with a cool video ! Greetings from Peru my friend! I have my doubts tho about my bike and this type of rocky trail, could a YT jeffsy take it with out breaking, or cracking ? Let's suppose i run it often ... Thanks for the advice
I noticed you are using MTB project app in this video would you recommend it? I downloaded it and was about to use it on a trail here in Texas and went OTB and broke my collar bone lol
With all your jamaican bobled team jokes now you gotta ride bo sled trail in SLC the shape of the ravine causes like a sidewindering wall ride type flow and the bottom section has old abandoned classic cars turned into jumps and drops
Hey Alexander awesome video as always. Btw there is a series of hidden trails up here in Wilmington Delaware in Brandywine Creek state park. My friends and I have never attempted some of the INSANE DROPS that they contain because we are scared for our lives yet some say they are doable. If you are ever in the area would you be willing to try these trails???I know that you are a pretty big daredevil and travel all the time so lmk thanks!
The Singletrack Sampler oh it definitely is man. If you ever find yourself here you should for sure give it a try. I love the videos you put out man and I love your riding style keep up the good work!!!
I love these solo videos... just Alex, perfect lighting, amazing scenery, and high degrees of stoke.
Solo rides are pretty solid, but there's no beating the pure debauchery of a group ride with the boys. Can't wait to do it again soon man!
Agreed.
Haha! I thought this was looking familiar!
The Singletrack Sampler is your helmet visor crooked on purpose?
Ah dude, I really thought you uploaded it genuinely as a little taster session. Have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it - as I do with all your videos. I've just recently signed up to support our boi BKXC But, i'll definitely consider support the stoke at some point in the future. Stay safe man...AND STAY STOKED!!
Haha I did appreciate it. Got a taste of that patreon goodness. Am I in debt now lol?
The Singletrack Sampler lol only us true fans saw it. I thought it was an accident but hey we do appreciate it every now and then. Thanks bro :)
Utah has some awesome trails. Thanks Alex. I love what you and Brian do.
"The Singletrack Sampler uploaded a video." Just what I needed after a long day training on the road bike. 10/10 :)
Nice dude - get after it!!
Awesome video Alex! I live in North Ogden and ride this trail all the time, it's one of my favorites! Seeing you enjoy it as well makes me stoked, awesome to see my hometown trails getting some love. Keep up the great work and riding hard
That's awesome dude! Pretty darn good local trail you have there :D
I see you caught the extended cut while available :P
Watching your videos got me into mountain biking coming from Dirt bikes, i bought a specialized and jumped right into it, turns out i found a new hobby i love way more, thank you
Man that is awesome to hear!
Just got my YT Capra AL Comp yesterday. Going for my first ride in a few minutes with my buddy. First time riding a MTB! Love your energy and your videos!

Hey Stephen! This such an amazing thing to hear. Glad you and your bro are out ripping, and thank you for the kind words my friend
Love your vids Alex, great content. Also, really appreciate the text overlay stuff - that's actually what won me over when I first subbed was your "Mistakes were made" video - the text and audio cues were great!
Also, dude that downhill was sick in this video - you were hauling groceries man!
I really appreciate that Jeremy! Giving the videos that extra bit of love, you know!
Good to see you back in your wheelhouse..... solo, fast, sketchy rides!
50000 Subs!! Congrats Alex!!!!
WOOOOHOOOOOO! Thanks!
man that trail is hypnotic, damn!
nice work Alex
It does have a pretty good pace to it doesnt it
Yes, it does, ride that in Holland you get burned by all of the nasty plants around here. ;-)
Awesome! Nice that you are riding frequently!
Feels good!
It is so funny watching your vids with captions on
Oh, dope dude! Ogden was a pretty place, and I love small towns! It's always cool to find little hidden gems like this
Yeah dude, glad you enjoyed the trail and Ogden. It's interesting to me to see how you found it so beautiful. I guess because I grew up there, I just got used to the view and scenery, so to me, it didn't that impressive, you know? So I thought that was pretty cool. Really appreciate that Zak 👊
You are doing great buddy.everytime you go alone in the singletrail was amazing.nice landscape, awesome excitment and smooth beer.hope to see more video from you.10 Like for you!
I hiked Lewis peak last September. Amazing views!
Nice ride. It's a lot of fun. You should hit up park city or head to draper and corner canyon. Ghost falls, vertigo, Ann's trail, levitate, and the bike park is fun to play in too. great stuff up most of the canyons as well. Enjoy Utah.
You were talking about taking it in the knuckles. Personally I use lifting gloves because there's extra padding on the knuckle area for those hits.
14:41 was definitely a quick safety meeting.
While you're in Utah you should visit the trails called Levitate and Vertigo at Corner Canyon near draper, they're only a few months old (not even on MTB Project yet) and they were built by Gravity Logic.
I just MTB'd Logan, UT - dayuuuum... amazing.
If you're looking for a stellar downhill the upper pipeline trail in millcreek canyon is one of my favorites for a drop off and go. But the lower trail is also so fun.
Wow this guy really knows how to place his commercials in the video right when there is a cliff hanger. "What!! No!" Cut.
You’re just pure fun. Good run
Good stuff! Love the scenery!
Looks like a great ride... SOLO!
Haha watched the video by changing the playback speed (new setting on youtube) to little low and it was fun!! Haha awesome man
SPICY!!!! STAY STOKED MY DUDE!!
I love that mtb app. Also in AZ the wind always blows towards the storm, it's like it uses it as energy as it builds up idk weird
3:58 😂 eins, zwei, drei... I really enjoy your videos! Keep up the great work! Greetings drin Germany 👌🏻🖐🏻
Cheers Yannick!
Dude! Can't believe you rode in my backyard on my favorite ride and didn't call me. 😂😂👍🏼👍🏼🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
XD
The scenery looks very similar to the trails surrounding my area here in the south east of France (southern alpes). Rocky, dry loose terrain with countless occasions to slash your tires !
If you like it grab a plane ticket and come play here :)
I have to give this a very solid thumbs up
Ive already seen the patron version bur i guess IT wont hurt to watch this again 😅

I already did it, and you aren't kidding about that first piece of it! Loosey goosey indeed - I'll have the video of it soon!
Awesome! Thank you for giving us great stoke!
Dude I just watched this video! I live about 15 min away from No. Ogden divide! I hike that trail! I could only imagine biking it lol
Welcome to Utah!
Too bad you couldn't make the peak, it is way cool up there. But you were smart to turn back, with it getting dark and the storm. Great video!
What's up bro.. love the videos. Had a wreck last weekend and broke my collar bone... I had a guys weekend coming up this weekend at raccoon mountain Tn.. I guess I won't be there lol next time.. having surgery on next Tuesday to put a pin in

jealous as always! planned a trip to fruita for next year to enjoy some of these nice north american trails. but still not sure if i can afford it :D
Great vid, thax dude
Alex I hope you could tell me what are some good cheap flat pedals and a medium range price flat pedals and which flat pedals do you use?
Sincere question: have you ever ran into a hiker? You are shredding hard around some of those blind corners and you obviously have great reflexes but I just kept thinking about a hiker being around one of those corners
I have not!
You should come up to Minnesota and ride cuyuna or spirit mountain.
As a fellow city-bound Minnesotan, I'd love to see that!
What Brand of gloves are you rocking? Love the design.
Been rockin' the Hand Up Gloves for the past few months and really love them!
Hey Alex ! You came up with a cool video ! Greetings from Peru my friend!
I have my doubts tho about my bike and this type of rocky trail, could a YT jeffsy take it with out breaking, or cracking ? Let's suppose i run it often ...
Thanks for the advice
Thanks dude! A YT Jeffsey could 100% handle this trail and most others for that matter
I noticed you are using MTB project app in this video would you recommend it? I downloaded it and was about to use it on a trail here in Texas and went OTB and broke my collar bone lol
Yep! I like the layout and user interface a lot
Hahhahha I am stoked too dude watching you doing this.
Yeewwwwwww!
With all your jamaican bobled team jokes now you gotta ride bo sled trail in SLC the shape of the ravine causes like a sidewindering wall ride type flow and the bottom section has old abandoned classic cars turned into jumps and drops
Dangerous trail.......love it do
About to tear up slaughter pen. Missed you by a week 😕
Yea boy - enjoy!!
