I don't know why but watching these drills wing up and down is so satisfying. Almost as good as harvest. I do miss the 1050 with the triples though.

Every year I watch your vid of the fleet getting ready to go out and seed. And every year I am always impressed with the fleet and the size of the operation. Once again, it is that time of year to wish all our great farmers a successful, and safe season. I hope all our farmers across Canada have a really good year. Favourite season is seeding. Optimism and potential.
Nah, seeding is just a stressfull race it starts right after harvest in august to mid september and doesn´t end before june, after you´re done putting seeds in the ground it´s time for the second application of nitrogen and spraying, so really the race doesn´t end till about mid july. Then you got about three calm weeks, and then it´s chilling time in the combine and forage harvester. That´s the real deal.
@@David-xl8zf planning your upcoming crops isn’t seeding. Banding N and spraying aren’t seeding either.
@@davidlogel2350 we have crops that go in in september and october, like canola, winter wheat/barley, some rye varieties and a lot of fields will have cover crops that go in basically right behind the combine to keep weeds at a bare minimum. A second time banding is mandatory after your crop is about ankle height when you´re running halfway organic as well as spraying an approved funghizide , as we are no longer allowed to treat our seeds with anything. That´s all within seeding season.
@@David-xl8zf putting cover and fall crops in is a choice, not mandatory here. We also apply all fertility in one pass when seeding. Sounds more complicated than it needs to be.

Mike, the back of the hand is more sensitive for detecting air leaks than the palm.
If you have hairy big paws, then even better for detection.😊😊

The sensors for the intelligent ag never go bad mike (unless they are broken in half, then tape them back together lol), its always the ports on the sending unit that go bad. Can enable more ports in the software and move the sensor to the new port.

Interesting. We used to take our oldest grandson, now 28, to see construction machinery parked in our neighborhood when he was about two. His eyes would open wide and he would shout WHEELS!! at the top of his voice.

With the size, quality and amount of amazing machinery you guys have. I think you should get a videographer the odd time to film you guys. I enjoy watching your channel but do feel the need to see some drone footage.
Mike I have a question 👋 have you ever struggled with fan speed specifically getting enough fan pressure to your wings? Especially with lentils. Seems we had a issue for a while with peas either it was too much fan speed and it beat the crap out of the seed or it was never enough and the wings would plug

U don't have to make a loop just make sure ur shanks r all the way up and as long as ur straight just back up about 10 feet
