Owen, I've been on my political party's team to scrutinise state & federal election results in Australia numerous times. We follow a similar protocol to the American system. Basically our 2 main political parties watch & check on each other. There's almost no way in the USA or Australia that we can "rig" an election without the utmost of co operation from the other side !!! Its absolutely impossible to do & as you'd expect, we watch each other like hawkes !!!
