I was born and raised in Stuart,so I spent a lot of time here as a kid. All the houses and golf courses weren't there then. The resorts weren't there. Was just a 2 ln road with mangroves on each side. I loved catching ( and always releasing) the sea urchin and cucumbers. I returned home for a few days in June this year. It's still so very beautiful here.
@@anonymousnoname1889 in my opinion, yes. I've seen it grow a lot over the years, but in a good way. The historic part is still there, but there are new things to do and explore
My grandma use to rent out that house over the summer in the 1990s..second in the background at the 2:00 minute mark. Beautiful beach, it’s been closed for awhile though to the public.
@@Hillr2249 is there a name for that beach ? Where is the best part to snorkel in fort pierce ? I love peanut island that’s what made me move to Florida
@Airborne I never heard of peanut island in ft pierce might be new lol but north beach is much better than south you gotta pay but it's worth it. Cleaner etc. I used to snorkel in the inlet. Between N and S Beach! Stay away from avenue D as a side note!
@@Hillr2249 I’m aware of that i was just saying that’s what made me move to Florida it’s hands down the best spot to snorkel in in west palm that’s all

Is it still a good place to live in your opinion? Thanks

@@baileylynn6481 Thanks for responding. I appreciate it 👍.
@@anonymousnoname1889 glad to!
I only went to bathtub beach once before but it was by far the most beautiful beach I've seen
That's a great beach! Hopefully they will finish all that construction soon and we can get back to enjoying it.

Oh wow, the homes there are beautiful, it almost feels like Nantucket and not Florida. I was in awe of them 🤩
Bathtub Reef Beach has been open all year, they only closed for a bit in the beginning of Covid like most parks/beaches in FL
@@EpicSaltyLife They were closed since November due to all the erosion but have just opened it back.
@@EpicSaltyLife that's because the area is filled with tri staters that come down to Florida then demand everything be like their original home.
That’s the best little beach EVER-so nice there...
It really is, crystal clear and love the Nantucket style homes around the limestone jetty 👌🤩
love the channel!
Alex Caputo thank you so much!! 🤩🤙
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida more.
Ok 👍
@@EpicSaltyLife LOL
Quick question, there’s any good hotel around that area
We stayed at Hutchinson Plaza right on the inlet and drive over to Bathtub Reef Beach 👍
can dogs go to the beach
I didn’t see any 🤔
It’s a public beach you can bring whatever you want
❤️
Sharks?
I’m sure there are nurse sharks sometimes on the east side of the reef but I didn’t see any the day we were there.
Yes sharks. Just keep an eye out still beautiful there!
I’m moving to fort pierce in 4 weeks I love peanut island but of course would like to find something closer this Looks promising
Lived in fort pierce for 26 years. My best to ya ! North Beach is nicer than South
