Seeing your character running around with a pair of scissors in his hand gave me a chuckle :)
Tip: the river is too shallow to bathe in, so it's worth building a washtub. It's under the laundry workstations radial menu. I'm pretty sure you don't need to buy the schematic, it's automatically unlocked and only needs a few planks. You also need to fill it with a couple of buckets of water. Cheers for another entertaining episode.
You can tell that you can't shear the sheep when their fleece are as white as snow. When their fleece are brownish white they are ready to be sheared.
So, you don't have sticks in your storage because your villagers are spending them for heating when you don't have firewood. The priority is firewood>sticks>planks>logs. Just make sure you stack up on firewood and you'll be good. And you cant sheer sheeps in the winter, they need to stay warm :D
You can't shear the sheep because they have not grown their wool yet. They are at 4%, you can check this in the management tab or from the fold "interface". They need to be at 100% for you to shear (or in the case of Goats and Cows milk them).

if it's like real life you dont want to be giving the sheep a haircut during winter but wait til autumn when it's warmer in the weather, not sure if it's modeled in the game tho
@22:57 at that location I had the same problem till I found that if you across that river that by where the horses are that there like water fall with big lake around it. That one deep enough where you can wash yourself off
Quick tip on how to get your kids affection up, you can buy toys from all different vendors from toy swords, animals, etc you have to keep buying them stuff ( just like in RL lol )
And talk to them everyday they sometimes have quests that aren’t marked up aswell x

A villager will not gain any farming experience (or extremely little) when they perform a few jobs... Tending donkey shelter, tending stable, tending chicken or goose.
Not sure if you know about it already or not, but your Wife can heal you if you Injured, give you food and drink when your hunger and thirst is low, all you need to so is talk to her whenever one of your bar is low ;) Hope that help! also as usual, Amazing series!

I have been doing more of the numbers as it is part of a game I enjoy. Turns out porridge/gruel is more profitable then flour, until you can turn the flour into white bread or flat bread if you don't have eggs.
More fun results, I guess you could call it, is all the farmers will start on the northwest corner of a field.
Safe farm size is 1 farmer per 40 tiles per day. So 1 farmer in a 3 day season can harvest, fertilise, hoe, then seed a field of 120 in that 1 season.
I am still am crushing more numbers but bronze is more profitable then iron oddly. Your workers harvest more copper and tin then just iron and the ratio of bronze to tools is better then iron to tools. Iron doesn't seel for much more then bronze.
You make enough money already to clean out all the vendors of their money, so it doesn't really matter. I just enjoying it as I said.

It isn't exactly once per season for milking and shearing. If you go to the management tab, and go to animals, you will see a percentage on the cows and sheep. When they are at 100% they can be manually sheared or milked. Depending on timing, you can occasionally get 2 milkings or shears in a season.

If it helps at all from someone who is from a family of sheep farmers.
We use basically air lock systems for gates. Not in a literal sense but the design. So like a square with gates at either side so those blasted sheep don't bolt through lol
We also put Alpacas with the sheep because they bond with them & start protecting the heard from foxes. Does mean you can't really use sheep dogs though because like Kangaroos when it comes to dogs & Dingos, Alpacas just see dogs as foxes.
And casual reminder, never ever let your dogs near Kangaroos especially near a body of water. They're not playing with your dog.

You can build bathtub in working station decoration then fill the water you can use that to clean yourself without running to river.
If you keep all your resources, tools and weapons etc in your storage hut, the villagers will get what they need when they need it and it will be shared between everyone one if needed.
Regarding the shearing of the sheep if you go back to 27:53 where you checked the sheep for the last time as you ran past the command popped up and went away really quickly as you ran to the second sheep
I already have a city with all kinds of cattle, a mine, high level production facilities etc.
The only thing Im missing is Smithy 3 and the tavern. I even got the windmill. I just started a week ago 😂

There are clothes for warmer weather in the game too, just like there are warmer clothes for colder weather.

You can use the Washtub to clean yourself. I always keep it right next to my well. :) Fill it up with 3 buckets of water and it will stay filled the rest of the game.

Loving the content. In the Herbalist Hut use the hope to create potions of temperature. Cheap to make and a good profit.
I think you can sell your hens and geeses to generate more money. It is not much but surely they worth something😁
Also it seemed like you actually cleaned yourself briefly under the first waterfall while you were talking about it. I saw the dirty meter go down a little bit

Milk does not need to be left out for it to sour. Milk will sour in the food storage each season change.
I don't know if you disabled milk from your villages. (see last comment). If you don't disable milk, you won't see any in your food storage... they will eat it all.

In real life you have to breed goats to get milk so maybe that's the way it is in game? I have not gotten that far in my game yet though
i noticed when you milked the goat you had the shears in your hand. maybe if you unequip the shears it will work. bc you didnt have the bucket equipped when you milked the goat

It's from a quest you can get in Skauki I believe
you can leave the milk in the food storage and it will go sour
I bread cows, but the return on milk production I found to be not worth it, even after turning it into cheese. They did breed quickly though. In the end I got rid of them.
While that quest is tedious, I liked it the first time (but never again) as it’s not a generic fetch quest
I must ask, do you dislike composting in your compost bin? You're always throwing veg on the floor instead of your compost bin, makes me chuckle!
haha I'm not opposed to it as such, the floor is just easier and has no storage limit haha. Also I don't think the composter does it any faster than the floor so there's not much upside to using it

Hey, you said you have so many feathers, why not craft a bunch of crossbow bolts to sell, 10 sell for 35 and just take sticks and feathers, could be a nice side income since they weigh virtually nothing (will post on a more recent ep too)

There is no wool on the sheep, you have to wait till Spring to get wool.

Hahaha sorry if I mislead you. I forgot to mention that you need to check the percentage the animals are before trying to milk or shave them. I see many corrected my mistake .. it was still fun to watch you try to figure it out lol !!
