My Personal Post-Gourmand Lore/Theorizing Session

- This video is meant to compliment my personal playthrough and is not in any way a comprensive look at the lore. Spoilers for content (Echoes, pearls, slugcats) I have not come across yet will not be tolerated, including confirmation or rejection of my theorizing. It is simply a record of my current state of mind based on my experience of Rain World lore. I hope you all enjoy.
To those who have not seen my playthrough, I completed the Survivor having encountered Looks to the Moon dialogue, Five Pebbles dialogue, and finding three Echoes. I have since finished Monk and Gourmand. No new pearls.
I AM going to continue with Gourmand in the future to visit things I’ve missed. Please no spoilers, including confirmations or rejections of my theorizing, I make these all in good fun. Thanks for watching :) and see you in Artificer.

That food section was very entertaining, reminded me of how some youtubers make their own concepts for new creatures or variations of existing ones, maybe you could do that one day?
Oh, and I'm sure artificer will enjoy the scav-in-a-bag very much hahaha

also!!! i suggest you play gourmand just for 5 minutes to go back to the big tree-trunk-cave just right of the campaign's end and climb it to the top, pretty please.
I’d love to do something small like that but not sure (yet) how it’d fit into my content timeline. It wouldn’t really be an episode and I wouldn’t want to combine it with my Artificer run (which I’m currently editing). Maybe if I do a few more Challenges videos, then when I get to Gourmand I could tack that on there or something…
@@knightofiron I think you could fit that climbing to the top of that tree with thinking about what's the deal with that list of stuff that shows up above your food pips when you play as Gourmand

The problem with that comparison is that Hunter was killed without experiencing anything new, where visiting someplace new is... well, new content.
Sence you have played gourmand you can get new endings for some of the other slug cats
Guess Knight will remain unaware of Gourmand main goal of food collecting quest that has been entirely skipped in playthrough even after multiple pointing out in comments
Can you please relax on this. It has also been asked by multiple people (including KoI multiple times) to avoid spoilers/backseating. Comments pointing this out is the opposite of that request.
This is what a blind run looks like, and for some of us it is refreshing to see a unique run instead of someone knowing what they have to do ahead of time.
@@TrueWolves Sure it's blind through, but this absolute basic knowledge and it will not rob from blind through not even slightest. Imagine if you didn't knew how to throw objects, switch hands through entire game? And someone throw this basic knowledge as helpful, spoiler-free tip or at very end of play through? Fine. I won't bother helping or discuss any more on this channel
@1God1Fury if backseat gaming is your only way to discuss on the channel, then stopping altogether is probably best. If you can and wish to interact in other ways, its still encouraged instead of overreacting when what you want to do isn't what everyone else wants too.
Note that exaggerating is not a good counterargument. You may wish to look into the slippery slope and moving goal post fallacies.
@@TrueWolves You have no idea what real backseat look like. Find a difference between what's real back seating is 1st.
Water is wet, eating food restore hunger, pressing, opening setting to change controls in main menu - is not one of them.
Backseating is detailed explanation how do this and that, spoiling lore and what happening in region and whole story. How to get this quest item, which pipe to take, explaining what each enemy and creature can or can't do, telling where the secrets are. Explaining how to do advanced move techniques. How to craft something and etc.
I suggest you look at difference before accusing someone of backseating.
I’m fine with how my playthrough turned out. I’m going to go back in the future. I saw you pointed this out repeatedly and just internally decided that if it happened, it happened. It didn’t happen, and that’s okay, and it will happen in the future. I’m playing how I play.
