Nothing has gone right today, except this. Wow. What an apropos setting.
Heavenly, played by a master of the violin. I'm in love.❤
I want to send this most precious music to my very best friend...This is really music from heaven.
Everytime I listen to this, I find another way to heaven...
..
I keep coming back to this again and again........ it sooths the soul..... thankyou Peter.
Amazing. Tears. Beauty.
I want to wake up this every morning. Gorgeous.
Beautiful how guitar and fiddle harmonise, living proof that in the hand of - very - capable musicians any old tune can be brought to life.
That was very beautiful. Thank you for a few perfect minutes in a hot, sweaty day!
Please come to our part of France in the South East. I last saw Peter in 1970 in an early Steeleye Span gig somewhere in North London. It's time I saw him again. The music of Gigspanner, particularly the latest with the Big Band, take me to heaven and beyond. My group here in France play this tune, known locally as Je vais planter un oranger. We only make it to the clouds...
Utterly exquisite. Can't stop listening to this.
Saw Peter & Gigspanner last night, it was an exceptional evening! Two amazing drummers, going for it, plus Peter & Roger! Simply - Beautiful music! Thanks to all!
I went to Hexham for Feast of Fiddles last night & to reiterate Roy Stevens comment Peters piece with Marion Fleetwood was out of this world - words can't describe how brilliant it was - Thankyou
Heard this sung by all the great voices.....this is no words.....exquisite maybe

Amazing style! Little too arabic? Beautiful!!!
Sublime!
Where's is that?
At the Cahors Folk Club in SW France. The concerts are normally in the local medieval castle, but this one had to be in the local church.

Nice, but..... I think that this song must be played as simple as it is, without adding notes to make some performance. Just play the simple melody.
Pretty, but I love the words. So didn't do it for me, just a bloke showing off on a violin, sorry
sounds more like you're showing off...
@@bobgallagher3674 Sounds more like you are a numpty. There are a lot of you around.
@@bobgallagher3674you must be deaf, how can you say he's showing off? The man can really play that fiddle!
