Okay now that we officially have Guardian weapons that can work inside of anti Guardian fields I say it's time we strike back at the heart that started all this time to retake hip 22460
I like your thinking but dunno if there's anything in hip 22460. The goids didn't even pick it as a point of attack other than the random caustic cloud there. The humans never even had it populated and we only selected as a point of an attack agaisnt the goids because of the guardian site required to generate the attack. The hive ships are likely hiding in the permit locked Col 70 Sector systems and I wonder if one or two of these titans are gonna retreat that way.
@@grandreefer honestly I think there's more to that system we have yet to discover and the only way to know for sure is to explore it however exploring currently is too dangerous

@@grandreeferthe only thing we can come to thearise about is what happened with the titan and the experiment. Who knows if it's a new hive. It may have even been some kind of cellular resurrection of sorts.
Really it could be anything but for all we know. If it remains. We may be in for more stargoids and titans swallowing system.
For right now we should focus on the titans and the systems being affected but for all we know this is just the recon phase. Hip could send out another call.
@@superscott9780 I get it and that's why I said I like you're thinking. "more content" but at the same time I don't know that anything goid is really there to "take back". Maybe the old Guardian AI constructs will spring to life being controlled by The Witch(Salvation) but I can't see anything outside of that. The only thing that is there is an old Thargoid structure. Humans never even controlled it to take anything back and those four wrecked megas aren't much more than space debris. Have you seen them yet? All that aside I wouldn't be so sure that this is just the end. It would be very lame, not to mention anticlimactic, if fdev just let's us "clean up" all 8 titans without any change in strategy from the Thargoids. I'd be very surprised if that's how this really ends. If this is really even an end. We still have the Thargoid link pointing at the Col 70 Sector systems in game today. Something Thargoid is still there and we have yet to see the hive ships(Thargoid Cities)of old lore.

If the missions boards at the new counterstrike surface settlements can also offer AX Hostile Power Reactivation missions (i.e. the ones with Revenants and Banshees) that'd be great. Here's hoping!
The counterstrike surface settlements aren't expected to offer missions -- just AX ship combat.

The disappearance of Winters is starting to become suspicious. I almost wonder if she didn't get kidnapped by thargoids and they're hoping she'll get rescued at some point.
Well, in reality, the truth is that the small number of veteran commanders is small and most of the assets are new (due to seasonal offers). We veterans went on vacation when the phyton mk2 went on sale 🤑🤑🤑, maybe we will return August 7th maybe (and if the t8 comes out with the same sales model as the phyton personally, I'll retire )

then you'll retire cause the Python MK2 sold well and the type 8 will definitely be released in the same model of pay for an early access, I honestly don't think the tenner is asking too much if they end up reinvesting the money they are earning into the game and fixing issues that have been plaguing this game for multiple years (terrible antialiasing/upscalers and lack of diversified content for starters).
I think it would be a shame to retire right now, seeing as soon there will be an update to power play, and we don't even know what new feature is quite yet. Other games charge way more for way less, it could've been worse.
So.... Is anyone keeping their eyes peeled in the black for more? Is this all the Thargoids had for us? Was this the remains of their existance? Likely not.
Azimuth weapons are already pre engineered....can't double mod things...they are seen as legacy modded.

One day I'll see a Titan blow up lol. I seem to periodically login, to catch up with what's going on with the updates and earn my carrier a quick restock of funds to keep locked away and then I log out and a Titan blows up.
Ram Tah doesn't refuse to upgrade Salvation weapons. We need to stop pretending everything is a narration. That's Frontier Development saying, "we made a mistake with creating them in the first place. How can we make people forget about them? Let's start with limiting their use!"
Does this mean that Mod Shards can't be used in titan maelstroms and at spire sites?
