@@single-player "Never" is a strong word, there are trinkets and quirks that compensate that. And despite this all my characters with 87% deathblow resist still died after a single hit and there were like six or seven of them, lmao.
My first dungeon after tutorial is Treasury, I touch the corpse curio not knowing its an enemy encounter, get a pretty bad RNG and finishing the fight with my team half HP, the last fucking enemy say "The truth" get my ass beaten a second time and lose 3 people end up retreating because wtf. And that is how I describe the start of my stockholm syndrome with this game mode.
I will say the Treasury is a bastard of a zone. Best way to handle is to not touch any curious besides the stone tablet, the kvarotz jars/pots and the lost legion head torture gear... everything else is a trap. Once you "finish" the mission, you can do one curio at a time if you want and get the loot, since retreating wont be as bad.
@@peterwhite6415 admittedly once you know that the area becomes a _little_ less awful. The curios replace most of the sudden path fights, but there are still some nasty surprises there, namely the Cactonid walls which are traps (aka the hardest things to actively counter in existence) and the wildlife/all-area fights, which are far more common there (and still pretty damn dangerous). These things don't exist at lower difficulties though (or are much easier to handle) so I sometimes like to use the treasury as a place to level up some of the more convoluted heroes (like the Veiled) while making a tidy profit back.
that and the cup size... like I like boobs as much as the next guy but its a rarity to find a woman that COULDN'T Suffocate someone with their boobs, there "nice, boobs" and there "ok.... boobs.... again.....". other then that its a really good mod
the most disgusting enemies in this mod, i swear the pot stressmove has 30% crit rate or something, i also love when enemies spawn more enemies that can spawn more enemies that have insane crit rates, they should actually look to balance these fucking abominations.
Yeah the Kvarotz are probably one of the worst enemy factions in the game, and it's mostly because of the crafters. Those assholes chill in rank 4, are immune to almost everything turn 1, are really hard to kill, have very annoying shuffling attacks and if you get two of them may the Ancestor have mercy on your soul because that fight just isn't ending unless you get a crit/blight kill/corpse clear. Oh and they also cap your torch at 50 to add insult to injury. Any enemy in the game can pull some Darkest Dungeon shit on you, but those fucking crafters buy so much time for those classic DD moments to hit you.
I've only found two times Ka'varotz enemies one was in the Exposed Interior against the giant statue who attacks with skulls, a exploding skull and a thing that revive it, almost lose my main Highwayman but I completed the quest. Second time was in Catacombs, almost having complete the mission the statue with long arms appear with two more enemies. I lost my main Man at Arms and my main Houndmaster I decide to drop the quest because I only had my main Highwayman and Occultist left. I fucking hate the Ka'varotz enemies with all my guts. And I'm genuinely afraid that those fuckers will be the main enemies in the Black Reliquary final dungeon. Let us pray if that happens...
I was avoiding Exposed Interior mission for a long time after the first fight went crazy with 2 enemies disrupting my party by pulling and pushing on every turn.
@@single-player I thought levatine stress spam would be the thing i hated most about black reliquary, nope...its displacement, i hate toads and the spaghetti armed wilderlanders SO MUCH
@@oniuserjh Agreed displacement is a pain in all its ways however what I find more frustrating is the enourmous and absurd amounts of damage normal enemies can do. I understand it from a boss, but from a normal enemy? Like the Kavarotz skulls? Is total madness.
@@josemariavacaredondo8975 funnily enough the bosses that gave me the most trouble were the ones that were just really big regular enemies with very few other tricks, being the Caverns bosses (Gastrosaur and super Sandwurm). The Treasury bosses were both first-attempt clears, the Warhawk matron was a bit annoying but fortunately spent too much time reloading to be too threatening, and the Janissary was fun but ultimately very easy to plan for (since he's very weak to riposte and Man-At-Arms exists). Most of the time my boss missions failed because some bullshit normals wrecked my party before I even got to the boss, and a lot of times that happens because one gets a random push/pull and sets my whole formation back two rounds.
Call me crazy but bunch of Golds for winning that surprise MF fight is just.. decent? I guess? I mean I know we get a lot of strong trinkets like evolving perfumer trinkets and contraband. But golds? I wish we could've got some special trinkets too man. Unless I'm wrong and you can get a special trinket from them.
From what i know, Golem drops a unique trinket, i think Omekh doenst have one yet, but ya still get alot of stuff. Plus i think we deserve more gold from that fight.

The pots, and some trash mobs(normal enemies) need tuning down. Kinda crazy how some of the bosses are easy let downs when the basic enemies have more kill potential or are deadlier :/ *cough*not to mention how much overturned stress the djinns do especially since it’s a free prep stress they get and also the nerf to camping was abit much. It’s getting really boring being forced to run mark comps 24/7 That’s my experience anyway so feel free to share
Yeah I have to agree on the camp nerf. That was unneeded. I think alot of the other changes with the gameplay patch 6 might of turned off people as well. Like the HUGE nerf to stealthing.
I think all of the Kvarotz are due some nerfs, that faction is just way too powerful for no good reason, especially since they can attack you from anywhere.

It's happens to specific enemies, for exterior only the one in the video. The enemy is a mimic from a start, so waiting for usual one to do that useless. Also torch has to be 0-50

I don't know yet what are the mimic enemy in Caverns, but this is what BR team says in patch notes: "Fixed issue where Otekhs disguised as Levantine Grunts, Wildlander Hellions, and Cactonid Hemophylls would transform if all valid targets for them to attack were stealthed".

@@voodooozo3755 It's actually never 87%, because as soon as a hero reaches 0HP, he receives -7% DeathDoor resist, so it's 80% on a first DD check.
