for me, its curse of the blind pretty much every other floor, if not that, then curse of the lost, i get genuinely happy to get curse of darkness because it isnt curse of the blind and it makes glowy things pretty
well you see. i beat all of his post it notes easy. cause there was an exploit where if you left the game during dark esau's death animation and came back he would be gone for the floor without turning you into the lost. having to that every floor did make boss rush and hush a bit of pain though.
Yoo Hutts if u do want to try to erase Esau here's some info you'll need: Esau has 250 hp at the start of the floor and gains 20 max hp each floor which includes basement one (basically 270 at basement 1) Eraser erases enemies that have below 15 hp so with base damage you'll need to hit him 73 times with base damage and then hit him with the eraser. Good luck!
This is why I prefer meat cleaver,it just seems frustrating to count the hits and stuff only to fuck it up,meat cleaver just let's you kill the esaus without consequence

Gotta be honest. I feel like 4.5 volt on Tainted Jacob on greed(ier) is a mistake since the charges tend to come back a lot slower when you really need them.
After playing a lot of tainted lost and Jacob, I’ve learned to tell myself, “this is not the run.” And if I win, it will be a pleasant surprise. Usually not surprised though.
this is how i felt when i got a -71 win streak when playing tainted jacob for the first time, not getting a single completion mark. i think before that my worst streak was -30 something
-71 is a bit excessive :D I think the worst I got was -25 on tainted lost, but I did restart a bunch on tainted jacob to get something decent like a damage up from the start, because otherwise it is just annoying as heck :D

@Hutts Had an idea for a mod, and your following is one of the biggest Isaac communities I know, so I felt it wise to put it here. I want a mod that makes trisagion and brimstone separate. Similar to how revelations is separate from brimstone but still gets synergies. I want something like that for trisagion as well. Brimstone charging up while trisagion can be fired normally. I don't know how much effort it would take to remove the synergy or how to go about doing it.
As someone who got the platinum trophy in the End is Nigh hearing the music from it again is so nostalgic and great but at the same time it brings back all the pain... never want to see those goddamn cartridges again!
So, i just unlocked T.jacob and i really like the character, the way that you can deal a lot of damage to bosses or clean rooms is really cool, the fact that dark esau can be killed is the only thing that i don't like T.jacob tho, but i feel that if dark esau was inmortal T.jacob would be somehow enjoyable for more people. And i feel really glad that i could kill delirium, hush and the bosh rush with him (delirium was chessed with meat cleaver tho)
How to get Tainted Jacob's greed unlocks: 1. Play Tainted Cain 2. Break the game 3. Craft the Clicker 4. Click yourself into Tainted Jacob 5. Beat the game with your broken run as Tainted Jacob
I rage quit the entire game a while ago after it failed to load my save file properly, loading it as a blank 0% file, and then automatically overwriting my actual file with the bugged 0% file, completely wiping all my progress... for the 5th time. Oh and the crashes when I tried to simply "close app" on my console and it locked up my entire system. That was a fun, frequent bug too.
my favorite characters are the lost, tainted lost, and the lost (jacob flavored) and dont forget my favorite pickup, soul of the lost, and my favorite trinket, missing poster.
Tainted jacob (and esau) How would you make him not frustraring, without destrying the whole character. My take: instead of turning you into lost, esau would do a full heart of damage and paralyse judas (same way that the pill does) and always take Red hearts first. That way you would not want to get hit by him, but would not just die if that heppened. The effects when he dies don't need to be changed. It works as a great punishment for letting you brother die.
Yeah i came to that final conclusion after i played Tainted Jacob once. Same for tainted Lazarus. I do like unlocks and achievements, but if i wanna have that little fun while playing a game, i'll just play russian roulette til the end.
Hutts: I'd rather skip the item rooms, they're usually not worth it Also hutts: Will spend 5 cents to reroll the shop to then spend 15 cents to get an item that is most likely a minor damage or fire rate up.. Or some battery item you wont put to use for another floor or two- Item room pool isn't great- But it's 5 cents to take something out of the pool.. If not a chance at the best items. Some of your favorite items exist there. Smh. Poor psy-fly.
Playing t. Jacob is like playing bowling but there's broken glass all over the floor and then you fall over and get tons of internal bleeding and oh the nearest hospital is 5 miles away and the bowling ball broke your fucking legs
I had quite the lucky run with T. Jacob on greedier, towards the end i had insane dps output almost insta killing isau. Then I scored a 1 UP and killed isau and died. Respawned as The Lost (Jacob) and.... no more isau (:

Esau has 250+20*(stage number) hp so hutts needed 250+20*3 = 310 hp, easiest way to deal 300 damage is with 3 bombs(3*100).
