  • Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! TH-cam's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of TH-cam!

This video was uploaded 9 years ago. They were asking 12,500 and now these cars are worth a lot more now. I believe you can get 25k for this TA now. I still have mine and every time I take it out for. Spin, someone wants to buy it from me! Was worth keeping it after 21 years. 🙌🏻

@@zealandwylie489 yes if want to buy a V6 Firebird and with high mileage. Also, if you put an LS1 engine you better change everything from brakes to suspension to handle all that power. You remind me of them V6 mustang owners that can’t afford a V8 so they beef up their V6s. 🤣🤣

@@JR-jk5wz Hey what's wrong with gunning for the V6, used Mustang V8 prices have gone absolutely fucktard with a 140,000+ miles V8 SN95 costing between $15,000 to $20,000 in my area. V8s are nice but that's a bit much. Although I ain't gonna, even V6s have gone for the sky with a 140,000+ mile V6 SN95 Stang costing $7000 to $13,000. Seriously, where are those fairytale days when an old clunker V8 Stang or Camaro could be had for under $5000???

There's too many mustangs. Pontiac is gone for five years, the last year for Trans Ams are 2002. This car will easily be a collectors car in the near future.

This was my dream car from about 1996-2002. Then, out of some weird "look what I got!" moment… my aunt… who was rich at the time… bought one of these… all because I said it was the coolest car. My aunt was strange like that. She would go out and buy whatever other people would say is cool just to show off to them. She's broke now.

Brings back memories. Continuous failing window regulators, headlight motors, seat belt guides that pull out of the seats, AC knobs that break off in your hands, all in one turn signal stock with a quarter inch of play in every direction, big play school buttons, the hump in the passenger footwell. But the T-Tops, engine, and transmission made this generation of fbody fun!

Everytime I see one rollin through town, I get an immediate adrenaline rush, especially the few times that I've actually got to see Firehawks! I'm great full for the two different hands on experience being behind the wheel of a 2000 Trans Am and a 1999 WS6, both were M6s. It was absolute adrenaline rush the entire time! The 2002 Pontiac Trans Am SLP WS6 being my all time dream car, I'd lose my mind the day one's title is in my name, I'd go insane...one day...one day...some day...soon...I'll get me one...that is dark as night...riding under the moon.

Most Pontiacs were rebadged Holdens, Vauxalls, and Opels. So if you feel there crappy the Australians and Europeans seem to liked them. The LT and LS motors are still the greatest V8s known to man. The world speed record is held by a car with the same block as this WS6.

I totally agree !!! It was such an iconic brand GM should be ashamed. I Understood why they did away with Oldsmobile, Hummer, Saturn but c'mon Knight rider, Smokey and the bandit, the GTO had its own theme song. GM spend all its time building and marketing Suburbans and Tahoes and forgot about evolving there cars. The Ws6 which was an awesome car in its own right was built on a 11 year old chassis.

I want one so bad. It would make a great first car for me. V-8. Rear wheel drive. Manual. Tough steering. And great looks.

I had a 2002 black trans am a my first car. It was a joy to drive. Highway traffic was no issue (passing other motorists). To whom have or wanting to get a fourth generation trans am take good car if it and it will take car of you.

Why does everyone pick on a good thing. Kyle works hard to bring all his youtube fans new videoes. I like to see how well you would do if you were in his position. i have watched most if not al his videos and he is correct almost all the time. Come on guys give him a break he is only human and is bound to make mistakes. Kyle i hope you never change a thing your videos are perfect in every way. Keep it up and cant wait to see what you do next.

Interior seems small, but I have been able to fit five full grown adults into my 2000 firebird, so it's really just a matter of will and motivation. And owning it so I don't have to get squashed in the back... Although it is fun to make my tall friends sit back there.

For some one thats had a silver 2000 T/A going on 14yrs ,This car is in excellent shape..Somebody babied it..Those monsoon radios were good for 3years ..Dash not a crack in it, Door panel had the pontiac split near the upper right passenger side door and the rubbing mark on the driver side bolstering pad..this is one of the cars they dont have to come down on the price..

I wish I could find one like that near me. I'd trade in my 2012 Nissan in a heartbeat. Save myself a few grand in the long run, too. I just love the looks of the Trans Ams. Just something about them compared to Camaros/corvettes/mustang of their time. Really a budget speed machine.

i have a 93 Z28 with the LT1 and 170,XXX miles on it. never had an issue with the oil pressure. the optispark isn't too bad, but upgrading it to an MSD unit helps alot. anther thing to worry about is the GM PassKey antitheft system, as they are known to give fits as it ages.

got a 99 trans am ws6 with 28k miles on it, and it looks very similar to this in side and out, but the exhaust is aftermarket, apart from the muffler it self being smaller and the bolt clamps holding it together.
