hi Jeanine, i loved loved this one im a teenager-16- and struggle with really low confidance, anxiety, and a little depression, and i actually just listened to this one today on my way home from school im getting really inspired to work on myself particularly to get to a happy, confident place in life where i love myself and when i look in the mirror i see beauty inside and out and not faults. i wanna be confident really and truly and there will be some days where ill feel so crappy about myself ill hate and self loathe and it makes me feel just terrible and i want you to know, im not a religious person, i mean, i believe in god but i dont practice any religion, and i thanked him for sending me this specific podcast becuase you're so real, Jeanine you're not preachy or annoying, you actually get it what it feels like to suffer from low confidence and insecurity and how it sucks. and i love how this whole podcast was so real and honest and relatable i feel like i have such a deep connection to you like actually. i cried when i listened to this, and im actually tearing up now as i write this becuase ive gone through so much pain and while yes, i do have a therapist who is awesome, i really truly needed to hear this from YOU. You're amazing, i want to be just like you, listening to your background story and seeing how you could push past those years and accomplish so much and help so many people is really amazing. you're an amazing person and we should all aspire to be like you, jeanine. i hope you read this and know just how much youve helped me grow as a person and you have started my journey to wards confidence and i love you for how much you have helped. this podcast was all i could talk about to anyone today i sent it around to my friends who struggle with this as well, and we are all super inspired to start this. let's do this! anyways, hope this doesnt sound too cheesy and cringey, and as the line goes: its hard being a teenager, but its amazing when you find someone who helps it to be easier, and one day, when i am hopefully happy, healthy (:) and confident, i will always remember how you were the one who changed this for me. you helped me realize that i CAN do this, that it is possible for me to love myself. your not alone I relate to the stuffed bra because I went through the same thing except with tissues haha I look back at it and I laugh at it but it really was a struggle for me because being skinny back in middle school/high school really made me insecure
