Hi you two! … The biggest thing I miss from not living in the uk for 33yrs is the humour/ banter/ nuances. My wife of 40 yrs ( who is French) and speaks English perfectly (way better than what I do!😊) just doesn’t get it! As for cheeses from all over France and beyond on outdoor markets… yep! we have that pleasure every Friday!👍🏻 Enjoyed the chat between you guys!… isn’t technology wonderful to enable you to chat practically free!
Hi Steve. There are many more things I miss while in Asia and that sense of humour is certainly one of them. I do love a bit of sarcasm, but that goes over many people's heads 🤷
The kids screaming were too much 😱. I agree that a variety is the spice of life. But, as I age, not only does my temperature comfort zone narrow so does my love of routine. Thanks for sharing your green grass.

Moon and I have also been away from our boat in Phuket and we are now in the far north of Thailand next to the Mekong river. We’re back in another two weeks and getting it ready for sailing in the upcoming NE winds and drier climate (fingers crossed).
It's the same idea. A bidet is usually a separate piece of furniture to the loo, while over here the bum wash is usually a hose attached to the wall. Or it may just be a bucket and a pourer. My favourite is the loo with integral spout that the user controls using a tap. Ultimately, it's about cleaning your bum with water, rather than smearing it with loo paper. 💩🤪😁 Liz
