I think if you added a fried egg from the omlet station to the Loco Moco it might have increased to an 8 or 9. At a buffet I add bacon and lots of gravy to my Loco Moco. $15 is a great bargain for breakfast.
That's a LOT of food variety for just breakfast! (I loved the "very corn BEEFY and not too GREASY!" lol. I think that should be a tagline for a commercial somehow...)

You missed the pork belly whole bacon slab at the the carving station. For the brunch there is an omelet station next to the salad bar. Also, they have milk, mimosa, other juices, and menudo is tripe soup. Cow stomach.

$14.95 is a great deal. Suppose you just want to go try every flavor of the gelato and get nothing else. You are already ahead. Never get the rice that is sitting out; always go for the rice cooker. It looks like having your own car gives you the freedom to go places and try things you might not otherwise have been able to do.

me again.. so, at 13:36 , you can get that exact type same type of bacon in any refrigerated section of a grocery store. i did a pre-cooked fridge bacon comparison video a while back,, and i did have a favorite. so, danny, take a look as you can buy it and toss in in your fridge or even freeze it, then just nuke it for about 20 seconds or so (its pre cooked and it can overcook fast, so be careful).
Menudo is basically tripe and Hominy which comes from corn. It's great but you should put some lime in it. I also like it some oregano and chili flakes in it.
i too love corned beef hash, and whats funny is, im 99% sure that it was straight out of a can and there is NOTHING wrong with that. but its clearly “institutional” as you say. 😅

A shockingly good deal! I spend more locally ordering a crappy omelet overcooked by someone with prison tats.. NEVER generous portions of the stuff I really want, which is the fillings, not the eggs. And no mimosas.
Back in the day, when they were popular, it was explained that in Puerto Rico where the band had its roots, "menudo" means "small change". But in California and I assume Mexico, "menudo" refers to the tripe stew that Danny loves so much! Wasn't Ricky Martin in Menudo? (the band not the soup!)

Menudo is made from Tripe (the cow's stomach). It usually has chilis in it to give it the red color. No eggs? LOL!
