I love this scene for it shows how well Ruby works under pressure. The Doctor just throws her in front of the goblin king like "Sing!" -and she sings and rhymes! -simple rhymes but still, rhymes under pressure when her baby foster sister is about to be eaten. Mad skills there. 😂

I think people only think of Clara because Jenna and Millie look a little similar. And yes, there was a mystery associated with both of their characters, but honestly, Clara had a very different personality from what we saw of Ruby so far.

If you don't like it, that's perfectly fine. I myself quite enjoyed it. Most people are so crestfallen due to it being different that they don't see the story. I find it brilliant that this doctor isn't a regen. Instead, he's a litteral fragmant of the doctors soul, meaning the struggles and challenges he'll face are going to take more than quick thinking and wit, and I'm excited to see what comes of it

Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson and David Tennant have all jumped ship and left Doctor Who (Gatwa is focusing on theatre work, Gibson is looking for other film and television projects, and Tennant is now back with Marvel Studios). Two Doctor's plus a companion gone, and the effects work on Gatwa's second series has only just started. Just shows how bad the show has got thanks to RTD's and Disney's involvement. For me the show ended with Capaldi's 14th Doctor (Jonn Hurt was 9, Eccleston 10, Tennant 11 & 12, Smith 13). After that nothing is canon.
Of course Tennant has left, he's not the doctor any more. They specifically filmed the upcoming seasons in a way which allows them to do other projects in the meantime, they've filmed two series already which gives them 2024 off- there's no indication that they've left doctor who or jumped ship.

I doubt it, the commentary for this episode has him say something like "No one has run around the TARDIS like that since Rose", when Clara did it.
