@@kurtwagner350 Jesse didn't confirm it. He gave his opinion. Being a writer is way more about suggesting and understanding the characters than actually knowing everything about their motivations.
Actually, I, myself, don't think it was underlined. I'm pretty sure Logan wanted Kendall to take over at some point, but when Kendall kept on failing miserably, even at betraying him and the company later on, Logan just decided his son was no more for the job. I think Logan was too deeply disgusted by the idea that someone other than himself would take on the firm one day, and although Ken was his number one boy, he wasn't good enough as well.
I like how Kendall just further proves why Roman and Shiv don't always trust him lmao. I feel for Shiv because her brothers push her out all the time and she feels reliant on them.
Even though it’s public, it was ran a family business. Not crazy. Groomed as leader and decision maker. None of the kids are actually ready. She as ready any of them.
@@LaCheeserie@LaCheeserie Shiv was working in politics and trying to distance herself from the family business, though, when the show started. Shiv was the least deserving of becoming CEO imo
@@liljackypaper At this point in the show, None of the kids are capable. Logan did not want any of them taking over. You act like she is a million miles away from the very short list of potential CEO’s
Don’t look deep into Shiv pregnancy. Sarah Snook was pregnant in real life so they added into the character because it would be easier than hiding it with camera tricks etc
Initially, I didn't like that they introduced this plot line as it felt soap-opera'ish to me and I thought that there is no need to explain why Shiv looks bigger ... but I must say it added some layers to Shiv and Shiv & Tom story arcs.
I thought that Shiv's 'Don't touch me' outburst was more about embarassment of falling down in public and being frustrated more than it was about Tom and she would have shouted at anyone who would have tried to help her in this moment (also that being Tom probably didn't help, they don't have that kind of relationship anymore where she can easily accept his help in any shape or form)
Oh my god ur reaction for the series will end soon?? This was the last Succession series attachment I had!! Can’t believe Jeremy or Brian Cox dint get Emmy for the last series!
It’s an extremely low bar, but I was impressed that Shiv managed to demonstrate a basic level of etiquette when she’s on the phone with the obgyn office talking to an NRPI

That was my first thought when i saw the paper..
Confirming it ruins the point of making it ambiguous

I agree. She acts like Tom ruined her chance at taking over... Sweetie, you were never taking over 😂

Waiting for you two to finish the series is stressful as… 😆
The stuff you cut out for the edit boggles my mind.
As well as the constant zoom ins on their faces when they're not even reacting and are just staring at the screen.
They SHOULD REALLY REACT TO “THE ONES WHO LIVE” trailerrrrr😢😢😢

Jaby is correct, it is underlined. This fact has been established by Jesse Armstrong as well.

Did Acharakirk get offended at some point? She acted strange for some reason towards the end...
