Bravo! Absolutely exquisite! Today I had minor surgery but it's left me in major pain and I suddenly decided that I needed to hear this piece of music. So I was listening to the various artists and came upon this one, curious to hear what an Erhu sounded like. Pairing it with the piano was perfect! There was such intensity of emotion flowing between the instruments! It reminded me of the way the waves crash on the beach. They come in with power and then dissolve into a gentle caress that tickles the sand and scampers back until the crash of the next wave. I'm so glad I discovered this video! 💝❤💝❤
My first time hearing an Erhu, it has so a unique, beautiful yet sorrowful sound. Intertwined with the piano creates this sound of pure pleasure which stimulates all my senses. Truly exquisite and mesmerising. Very well played, a true masterpiece.

That my heart wanted to break and rejoice at the same time was such an amazing response from what others may consider as mere sound waves. It was heart-wrenching in that it reminded me of the harmony and distance of the earth and the sky.
