Book Binding workshop at Wolffkraft Studio

Last weekend, the pack at @Wolffkraft hosted a book-binding workshop for its Extended Pack Collective members in partnership with The Second Life. Raahul Khadaliya, the founder and an avid supporter of sustainability, led the workshop.
Raahul designs and crafts products from waste and recycled materials and guides participants through abstract methods to paint covers and explore multiple book-binding techniques.
This hands-on activity was immensely rewarding, teaching designers valuable lessons in attention to detail, patience, and persistence. It fostered an understanding of materials, craftsmanship, and quality while enhancing problem-solving skills through troubleshooting. Additionally, participants gained historical and cultural appreciation, encouraged creativity and innovation, and improved communication and teamwork.
Overall, this workshop enriched designers’ skill sets and mindsets, making them more adept and thoughtful in their work. It also emphasised the in-depth approach of sustainability in producing high-quality notebooks.
