This series is amazing. Thank you NREF and AANS YNC.
Thank you so much for sharing with us your expertise.
I am still a first year medical student outside US, but I know that Neurosurgery is a wonderful field that I am eager to be a part of one day. I know it's very hard for an IMG.
But, I will do my best to shine and join in the next years.
Thank you again for making us full of hope and excitement.
So how you doing
I appreciate this a lot everyone. Thank you for your time.
Wonderfully informative
Thank you🥰
Thank you so much guys
The publications must be done in this field, right?
Do they also accept research and publication done outside the US? Ex: Italy
The first guy talking…just unreal ahah…it doesnt really matter phd, volunteering etc…u just need to be from a top school and have 20 publications and score 270 in step 1😂😂…i come from a place where one cant cooperate with professors to do research and the school is “small” how he said; really trying to make me give up on those dreams huh?😂
Yea man but that’s the reality, the other Dr who wanted to be a dentist made it because she absolutely crushed every aspect of the match process and overcame the adversity of coming from a no name school and quite frankly, resilience is one of the characteristics thats gonna make a great neurosurgeon
is it possible to complete PGY-1 and PGY-2 both along, because before starting medschool, many people has also done neuroscience and neurology diplomas, which is also a part of PGY-1 year, so, is it possible?
No you cannot complete PGY1 and 2 before starting medical school. You have to have graduated medical school before you can start residency
@@Sam-oc2zw Of course i k that fact but my question is during residency can i combine pgy1 and pgy2?
@@Hitherehealth no you can't unfortunately.
