I always hated geography, thought of it as useless since if I wanna know a place I can search it or use a GPS, but this video made me want to learn geography. It was so cool seeing him get so many right
You should watch some full time geoguessr streamers/world record holders! Wil is probably honestly only somewhat above average here, and he's using a setting to make sure he gets pins in cities that have a lot more text. People do this on country roads with hardly any reference points. It's honestly insane

You can tell a lot about where you are by looking at any nearby railroad crossings, many countries have their own specific sign and design.
Just something I learned from being a massive train enthusiast and railfan.
Edit: traffic lights and road signs also work well.

My neighborhood descended from a lot of Irish immigrants, so there's a ton of Irish flags everywhere. He's already gotten near where I live before, (I recognized it, flipped out, and he got it wrong,) and if he gets around my neighborhood, welp, he'll be quite far off.
