On this episode of Clown's Cosplay Adventures, I go way too far and make a modded weapon to tackle Elden Ring with. This challenge run ended up being really weird, and really fun.

you can use the perfume bottles AND the flames of the redmane.
also were i you, i woulda made the mod so that you held 3 perfume bottles like when you use actual aeromatics basically almost making them a legit casting tool and had each aeromati be its own spell with than you could call the casting tool, the white phials which idk if theres large myths about it but i still loved the white phial quest from skyrim about the bottle only known as the white phial that all alchemists coveted as the perfect way to make a everlasting magnum opus of a potion as the bottle was said to refill its contents forever. i feel like it woulda made it look less weird with than perhaps the weapon art would still be a buff like the one shown but let it do MORE dmg that what you were doin seen as all basic attacks now would cost fp.
i will say tho that if you ever release this weapon as a mod than i personally would love these changes cause i think it would fit the unique feel of the weapon in the vid with the changes simply being that first, just change the model to the 3 perfume bottles used for the actual perfume bottle and than boost the base dmg and make the buff a bigger buff than it is BUT at the cost of every attack taking fp. personally i LOVE its current feel of a magical melee weapon that requires fp to attack with what is effectively a spell but with all the melee weapon traits and really i think that it would just look real damn cool as well :D

Like weirdly balanced, coulda just let the dagger do damage by itself tbh and it only be really good (but I get why no damage since he made it a starter weapon)

This is a pretty unique run, very nice ! Like it a lot, maybe you could do more custom runs like this, modding weapons in a specific way, like that you can add some interesting twists to your content.

As someone with a faith/consumable based build as a Travelling Perfumer, I can only hope a Perfume themed weapon is added in the future DLC, this blew me away and I absolutely love what you did with that Dagger.

as a dancer who does minimal damage mostly debuffing enemies / buffing allies, i really love how pretty this weapon is amazing job, i hope to see stuff like this in games.

I did an explosive only run with spark perfumes and volcano and fire pots and a jar cannon when needed, those spark aromatics are beautiful

That's a really cool idea! Unfortunately it wasn't in my skill set at the time. I might be able to pull it off after the learning experience I got from this one, but idk if I'll do another "make your own mod" challenge lol

@@KokoMakesThings wow what a wild coincidence to happen in this comments section - yes I did!!! 2016 I think? I've had the same username on everything for about a decade including twitch, so definitely me. I used it for a good few years until I commissioned this one from a friend!
You know if you ever wanted to try this again, I think making the projectile somehow consume and take aspects of a buff you put on the blade itself would be interesting. If you buff it with fire it gets closer to the perfume consumable, if you use poison it gets a small poison build up, lightning damage. Make it so your scents change up to compliment your enemies well.
A perfumer class is actually super dope. I wish it was an actual class with a dagger that did that. Thats so cool.

wouldve been cool to have a second part of the weapon art, like if the buff is already applied and you use it again you throw long range sparks or something.

Great Idea, I love perfumers and the uniqueness of perfumes, its just that instad of having a perfume run with using dagger and shield on occasion this just turned out to be a mainly modded weapon run with occasional use of perfumes, still enjoyed it though👍🏻didnt expect you to mod the game for this

one thing you could do is erdsteel dagger with flame of the redmanes then rely on repost damage
The initial stomp the draconic tree sentinel does during his start animation doesn't deal damage if you hug his belly
With how hard adding the need for buffing made this run you prolly would have been better off just using the standard Erdsteel dagger lmao (but then it would have been really hard to get); good video :3

I'm curious how a cleanrot knight run would go. Again you can't quit mimic how they dual wield with the spear but you can probably do the scythe without having to even mod the game.
Maybe a challenge run that you could do is either playing as Goku or chainsaw man (since it's popular right now). Goku you could use blood hound step for instant transmission and as well as beam and small blast attacks. And chainsaw man you could maybe mod in animated chainsaw claw weapons that have a weapon art called ignition which increases damage (or something) but causes gradual damage overtime but heal proportionally every time you accept.
And this is somewhat accurate to the source material because the main character chainsaw man uses blood as fuel for his chainsaws and slowly tires because of it (hence the gradual loss of health) also there is a already a elden chainsaw man model mod so that's half the experience covered.
Also to make it more interesting maybe no crimson flasks due to the healing

The Carian Regal Crest will reduce weapon skill fp cost. Could be useful if you do another run like this.

If you calculate the damage you do and change it to fire increased by 47 (Fire Scrop, Alexander's, Perfumer's) i'd like to see if you can do it, you know, the "What if it worked" on Malenia.
Think it's around 230 damage you'd do? unless the damage increases stack on top of eachother instead of cumulative.

They need long press charging on the perfume attacks (flame) to alter the pattern/distance/arc to match the PvE perfumers.... The one hit trigger is too dumbed down compared to the PvE perfumers.

I have done a really interesting challenge a Status effect only damage challenge i can only Deal damage throu Status effects so bleed, frost, poison and Rot and no dragon breath becouse it does damage that is not Rot really fun and difficult
This seems impractical, you'd only be able to use frost and poison mist, no?
