Sublime got nationwide attention when the song "date rxpe" started to get radio play in 94, or 95. And they really took off after bradley passed and the third album was released.

I had always just assumed that it was Bradley doing the Thanx Dub at the end but just this time listening to it I realized for the first time that it was Miguel Happoldt. He produced the album. He was an engineering student at a University and would sneak them in after hours to record all night and leave in the early hours of the morning so they basically recorded it for free. I recognize his voice from hearing him on the documentary DVD Stories, Tales, Lies And Exaggerations.

a lot of people don't like Sublime bc they've heard the 2 radio songs a million times, but Brad was a genius and an amazing vocalist. great rhythm section too.

Who would those people be? This album was inescapable for a solid decade.

If you wanna know something else that speaks to how cool this album is, the band members would sneak into a college in California overnight to record the whole thing, never having to pay for studio time. Legend.

This is my all-time favorite album! It's just SO diverse!!!!! SO many tracks too! Something for everyone! When I first heard this I thought they must have had multiple vocalists but nope..... it's all Brad!!!!

Milo Goes to College is fantastic. I'd say its more emo than incel. Label it what you want, it's punk. It's not random, they are just as punk as reggae and hip hop.

I like the video but the glare of your glasses is funny. Adjust the light. Otherwise good reaction. One of my favorite bands.
