WILL SALAD VINEGAR SHARPEN A FILE?

I'm gonna try to sharpen a file with vinegar. You know like in your salad vinegar. Will it work? I don't know...lets see! Thanks for watching and please subscribe.

Went and got to work. Then I didn't have time to watch any youtube. Here I am trying to recouperate now that its raining a little. Got a lot done and theres plenty more to do.

Have been using vinegar for years to renew files. Usually leave them in for 1 to 2 days. Always gets excellent results if you clean the files well before soaking.

I've been using vinegar for many years to remove rust. I have a file cleaning brush to get rid of clogged teeth. Most of the time getting rid of rust and brushing the file teeth will bring an old file back into service. If it's rusted to bad I will clean them up and make a knife from the old files.
