CAMMO FINISH - 1936 Air Ministry Spanner Restoration!

  • This is an Air Ministry spanner from 1936. The Air Ministry was the pre-runner to the Royal Air Force in the UK. All tools of the Minstry were stamped with the crown and the date at the time.
    I found this rusty spanner on ebay and though it was worthy of an Old School Restoration and little bit of fun on the paint job! I hope you can still see it!!!
    For the rust removal I used evaporust and then the restoration consisted of filling, sanding, polishing and finally the cammo paint job and highlighting the text in white.
