todd was always one of my fav guys... because he wasn't flashy and doing solos all the time. as a musician, i never want to have to seek the beat. i don't think todd gets enough credit for the amazing job he did holding everyone together for decades. obviously the sound has always been changing, particularly from houser to george (another fine musician imho) and now jimmy. herring and trucks are both amazing and this video is good proof of that but comparing it to my first 4-C-R in montgomery in '01 with houser + nance I can't identify it as that "one song that was so freakin amazing" (i had no idea who panic or war or anybody was at that time... but i quickly did homework/roadwork)

I remember the first JB & Friends in Disney World after Mikey passed... so emotional. Jerry Joseph sang airplane rofl. And well!
I love and miss Todd. He was like the Ringo of the jam scene. Nothing but pocket. But there were reasons they parted ways.
Used to love Nance ,but his problems were an anchor on the band for years.
Trucks is a beast and just what WSMFP needed.
