However, I can’t help but notice that the video says, that his career ended because he had an accident that ruined his birl finger (the pinky). I wonder if anyone ever tried switching hands. Normally, you play the birl with the pinke on your right hand, while the pinky on your left hand isn’t part of the usual fingerings. So, one could potentially switch hands and use the left pinky as the birl finger. This comment isn’t a criticism or an attack, far from it, but rather a thought on finding possibilities and solutions in times of crisis.
