I wouldn't exactly call The Carol Burnett show clean and innocent. 😂 They had their moments of diving into heavy stuff like insane families, gun shooting, revealing clothing, saggy boobs, etc. Not complaining but just saying.

Carol cracked because she rarely saw Tim Conway crack. So, when she hit Harvey and turned around all she had to see was Tim's head turning away from her letting her know he was breaking character. After that, she instantly knew she had to pause to stop herself from laughing. It's as if she read Tim's mind and that is what made her lose it. Good comedians like Carol and Tim could easily read each other. This is a really rare moment. Caroll rarely laughed when in charater.

She said Vicky Lawrence was the only one who could keep a straight face. All Tim had to do was look at Harvey & Harvey would lose it. Listening to Vicki scream at 1:22 and Carol scream at 1:33 shows me what kind of singing voice they have. Vicki's screams sound like she has a soprano range and Carol's has a more mezzo range.
These people were so bloody funny, they couldn't stand themselves, let alone each other. It was one helluva cast. No one has ever been as good as the comedians of that era.

6:20 Tim kept on doing the silly laugh so he could make Harvey laugh which happened quite a bit in comedy sketches. He almost had him that is why he came back and did it again. Someone from the show revealed that Tim would do whatever he could to make Harvey break into laughter.
Conway and Korman were such a brilliant team. The four of them were brilliant together.
