    We review the 2022 Nissan Navara and we found out that it's definitely one of the best pickups you can buy right now. This is thanks to its mid-cycle facelift whose changes go more than skin deep.

    Hey guys. There’s a correction in the video. The Pro-4X’s wheels are 17 inches in diameter and not 18, as mentioned in the video. Sorry about that!

    Review suggestion po:
    Isuzu dmax rz4e ls a/t
    Toyota Hilux Conquest 4x2 2.4 a/t
    Nissan Navara VL 4x2 a/t
    TBH naghahanap at nag-cross shopping lang kami ng mga 4x2 pickup with strict criteria na mas matipid pa sana sya sa current pick up na ford ranger wildtrak 2.2 4x2 a/t, mixed fuel consumption average of 9-10 km/l (70% city traffic,30% highway). Sana mapansin po. Thank you.

    for me okay lang yung exterior nya. bagay sa kanyang category na pick up nandyan pa din ruggedness, matibay in the long run. for me okay sya 10-20years or even more. mas okay sya gamitin in the long run babagay yung mga dents and scratches sa kanyang looks

      This! Yung looks nya kahit madumihan at magasgasan parang ok pa din. Dagdag angas and very rugged ang exteriors looks. In comparison to BT-50 and Ranger na parang ayaw ko silang may gasgas or dumi/lupa-lupa kasi very classy na ang looks nila.
      Now, yung inside looks naman is okay lang. Yes, outdated na pero parang mas confident din akong isama yung dogs ko sa loob kesa sa finishes ni DMAX/BT-50 or Ranger kasi mas luxurious yung loob nila. I guess to each his own talaga and it will depend on how the owner uses the vehicle.

    Sir Isaac if you were to choose between nissan navara vl 4x2 or all new ranger wildtrak 4x2 what would you choose as a life style pick up? I'm picking between this two pick up

    Good review! I have a dilemma choosing Calibre-X and the Wildtrak 4x2. Which is better kaya overall? Ride comfort, according to other reviewers, Ranger is better daw. But how does is compare, really? I'm split between the two since appealing for me yung 360 degrees camera especially in tight spots sa city/driveways, blindspot monitor, and rear cross traffic alert on the Calibre-X but maraming nagsasabi na very refined daw ang ride and comfortable si Wildtrak 4x2. Can someone please provide inputs on this?

    My family owns a 2021 Ranger Wildtrak 4x2 and now a CalibreX 4x2. Mas lamang for me ang Navara overall.

      Im seriously considering the wildtrak 4x2 vs the Calibre-X. Concern ko lang talaga sa ford is the long term reliability. Although mas lamang sa safety features calibre-x sa wildtrak 4x2

    What can't be beat unless you go with the raptor is the ride quality. The multi link suspension and the gravity seats give you the feel of being in a passenger car but the durability of a truck. The vl 4x2 with an automatic is a perfect fit for most people looking for a vehicle that clicks all the boxes in normal drive ability and comfort. Not everyone needs a hard core 4x4 just to go to the market, and the money savings can go a long way with cosmetic upgrades.

    Weirdong faxx lang, sa Thailand daw di naka multilink coilover suspension ang likod kundi literal na leaf spring talaga

    In a world we're every vehicle is going to the DEF additives in order to meet emissions and yet compete in the segment the Navarra has stayed below that threshold to keep the vehicle easy to maintain and drive.

  • @dandan4763
    @dandan4763 ปีที่แล้ว

    Out of all the pick-ups that you've tested, which one has the best powertrain in terms of refinement? Also how would you rank the Navarra's aging YD25 power and torque delivery amongst its competition?

    • @GoFlatOutPH
      @GoFlatOutPH  ปีที่แล้ว +15

      This is how we’d rank our experiences with these diesel engines, though some of them are not based on our experience in a pickup, but with their SUV counterparts. This is overall when taking into consideration power delivery and refinement. Ranked from highest to lowest:
      1. Fortuner/Hilux 2.8 (1GD-FTV, 2021 power bump)
      2. D-Max/Mu-X/Mazda BT-50 3.0 (4JJ3-TCX)
      3 and 4 (tie). Navara/Terra (190 hp version) YD25DDTi and Ranger/Everest Bi-Turbo
      5 and 6 (tie) Montero Sport/Strada (4N15), Ranger/Everest 2.0 single turbo
      7. Nissan YD25DDTi (163 hp version)
      We haven’t driven the 2.4 version of the Hilux/Fortuner and the 1.9-liter version of the Mu-X, so we have no comments on those.

    @go flat out ph between this navara the vl specifically and the dmax lse?which you will choose for over all categories?

    • @GoFlatOutPH
      @GoFlatOutPH  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We’d choose the Navara VL. The only advantage of the D-Max LS-E is the presence of adaptive cruise control, but with the VL starting at just P1,476,000 for the manual transmission variant, it offers so much stuff at hundreds of thousands less than the D-Max LS-E. And if you go for the 4x4 variant, it even gets a locking rear diff, which makes us question why Isuzu didn’t add this for the LS-E

      This! in a few year's time, tuklap na yung leatherette finishes and gasgas na yung glossy plastics sa dash ng iba pero yung ganitong material is okay padin. Simple punas punas lang, hindi na need bumili ng dedicated cleaning solution for the leatherette finishes or kelangan pang mag ppf sa mga glossy materials ng dash and door panels. Simple, less gastos, at less iisipin.

    Rim sizes are actually important to those who plan on taking it offroad. Its 17 inches. Get the specs right pls. Isang silip lang po sa goma. Baka yang rim size pa basehan nila vs VL which is the one with an 18 rim.

      On both scenarios, the Navara’s the class benchmark still. It glides over bumps no differently from a Terra or Everest, unlike competing pickups using a leaf spring af the rear axle. The only other pickup that we think is nearly as good (but not as good) is the Ranger.

      @@GoFlatOutPH Ranger has a very good ride also. it's not matagtag. actually good. it took other pick up an entire generation just to compete with the rangers ride dynamics and interior layout.
      after some released an all new model of their pick up. Ford released their all new NextGenRanger hahahahaha

      as a navara 2022 vl owner myself and a person who also drives other pick-up brands due to my work as an engineer...I can whole honestly tell you that ride comfort in EDSA is so much better than all of its pick-up counterpart on other brands. It's simple the best. Nakakahilo at sakit sa katawan lalo na nung hilux. Nissan's intelligent mobility is a huge boosts na rin sa confidence natin driving in the streeets of Metro Manila
