Still feels like extra steps to get to the same place. I love the concept of Crimson Dragon, but it's hard to justify it with cards like Maxx C and Nibiru lurking about. I remember you used to run a Kashtira engine which got me thinking. If we had a reliable way of searching Visas Starfrost, it'd be pretty easy to summon CD early on (Visas + Bystial).
@@STI.Ricardito There is no point in forcing the Snake-Eyes engine in Dragunity. There is no synergy, there. The best you could hope for is that you don't brick, you open combo + a way to summon the Lv.7 Diabellstar and go into an early Baronne with a Lv.3 Tuner, be it Guisarme or Ash Blossom/Ghost Belle... which we can do, in a much better way, with a small Kashtira engine, since Fenrir is a combo starter, in Dragunity, anyway. The Snake-Eyes/Diabellstar engine doesn't offer anything that could improve the gameplay of Dragunity, or even make it more resources efficient. None of them can even start a Dragunity combo, for obvious reasons. So, why would I want them in the deck? 😕
@@craftymindgaming ok I see I wanted to see if there was any possible way to work in the snake eye boss monster into the deck but seems like an awful choice lol hmm what about galaxy eye to maybe sneak in a level 8 xyz in dragunity?
I havent seen any combo to where I dont add another brick yet. yours is the only one ive seen using the regular deck and i get what your saying. good job
It's not really necessary but, sometimes, it felt nice to send a target I would want in the GY, to either extend through disruption or extend with an extra resource in the GY. Practically, most of the engine monsters can be used from the GY, anyway. My preferred targets are Seyfert, Saronir and Ringowurm, depending on the game state.
Unrelated but the upcoming Synchro×Link event has Dragunity as the 2⭐ Loaner deck. It's limited to Synchros and Links but I wonder if you could show us how well it can work.
The loaner deck is bad. It's very slow compared to other loaner decks. It has no Samsara, no REDMD, no Guisarme, even though they are legal in the event, and for some reason they put in 3x Dux and only 1x Legatus. We can just make our own list with those cards and just play Whirlwind/Divine Lance in the main deck. The extra deck doesn't change that much. We can play Black Rose Dragon, Crimson Dragon and maybe Shooting Riser, if needed. The lines are just gonna probably involve dumping Samsara 1st, and then go into Seal, summon REDMD and dump Ringowurm. I don't know if I'm gonna play the event, though. Usually they're just ruined by some bs and are not fun. We'll see...
@@craftymindgaming I was actually going to also ask if you could give suggestions on how to make a better Dragunity deck for the event. Me personally, I'm playing Swordsoul Tenyi for the event. It's pretty much unchanged so perfect for me.
It's the regular route, really, but less resources efficient, since no Atum. Just summon REDMD with Seal and access Samsara, Phalanx and Ringo using Gae Dearg & Ravine. You would use ASSD and Crimson Dragon, for the combo, and end on 3 to 4 Synchros on the field + or - a Seal, depending on your hand.
@@craftymindgamingSince there is no access to any of the Bystial main deck monsters for the festival, is there a similar route for dragunity with no Atum and no Bystials?
In Solo Mode. If you win a Duel, in any of the Gates, you can go back there anytime you want and practice there, with no timer. The easiest one is the Duel Training Gate, ofc.
yeah id definetly have the other endboard, this one is not layered almost at all. Even the bonus samsara recycle can usually be done with the old combo. Needless to say im gonna stay with the deck that can beat swordsoul even after getting sphere moded.
You should never memorize combos, imo. Just try to understand the logic behind them, and you'll just know what to do when you think about it, in the moment.
How are you liking Crimson Dragon, in Dragunity, so far?

Calamity locking
Is there any possibility of a Dragunity and snakeyes possibly being compatible in a deck with each other?

@@craftymindgaming do you use it immediately? Or wait a bit
I think they need synchro rumble for CD to work, am using it in OCG, deck is cool
Yep, definitely! Synchro Rumble would be the best argument to start using Crimson Dragon moving forward, for sure.
what's the crossout for? i'm very interested in dragunity, one of my first decks years ago

I've been wondering if there is a route for Draguity that doesn't use Atum, so it can be viable in the Link/Synchro festival
