It’s nice that it runs on a USB cable. You could plug it into a wall outlet as well with that. Good deal.

What a neat little set to add to a shelf layout. I'm sure you'll make it look interesting with Christmas Lego display. Thanks for sharing this with us. Cheers from Delmar ,Delaware

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea they made special track. I assumed they had some kind of reversing circuitry in the trolley.

@JeffDM - You can also run the trolley on any standard HO scale train set track with a Bachmann DC controller that comes with any of Bachmanns various train sets. Also...the trolleys with the reversing circuit built in are the earlier versions of this trolley made by Dept.56 . They had a bump n go reverse circuit in the bumpers that acted like a switch.

Eztrack joiners are very tough, not like the old ones, the gray track has ones that are actually stuck to the rail. You have to take a flat bladed screwdriver and completely destroy the joiner, I had to do this with any isolated section on my layout to use a plastic joiner in

Ah, ok interesting. I didn’t try to take any off. I haven’t used eztrack in a long time. Hopefully they are a bit more durable than before then.

Hey Steve, any chance to remove the reversing electronics and use them with Peco's On30 track? Just curious, as I am thinking of a small On30 layout.

I don’t think the trolley has any reversing electronics just the track. So the trolley will be fine. If you wanted to combine the tracks then I think you could just leave the tracks with the reversing circuits in them off and use the other pieces.
