YSL is by far my favorite collection of fragrances. LIBRE INTENSE is powerful, black opium was the very first perfume I used up the biggest bottle of, the EDT version of Libre is also solid.
I have Mon Paris Intensement, I wasn't impressed much at first, now I'm starting to really like it. Once tried the original one, not a fan, I smelled beer in it 😮 I also have Libre and I prefer it to the Intense one. I don't know, I don't smell what people say about it :D And I used to love Manifesto. That's my story :D
I love Black Opium even though it has no lasting power, but the scent is divine. I also like the Mon Paris edp and Libre Intense (but not original Libre). Years ago in my teens I owned the original Paris. I’d like to find a vintage bottle. My main complain about YSL perfumes is that I think they are overpriced. And they are coming out with a million and one flankers of Mon Paris. But that’s what these houses seem to do once they have a success.
Do you feel like Libre Intense and Black opium are comparable? I love BO but as you said the lasting power it’s not good, do you feel like the longevity of LI it’s better?
@@GabrielaGonzalez-xw2dy Libre Intense and BO are not very similar in terms of scent. LI is a lavender vanilla and BO is a white floral coffee vanilla scent. LI though lasts much better on the skin than BO in my experience.
I actually blind bought Mon Paris Intensement and I hated it. On me it had NO sweetness and NO fruits whatsoever, just a dark bitter patchouli-rose. I had to sell it, it was just too much for me. The original on the other hand is a nice, easy-going fruity water, just an easy choice for any day and occasion. But my favorite fragrance from the brand has to be Cinema
Love YSL perfumes 🥰 They work great with my skin chemistry and all the ones you mentioned actually last on my skin for at least 6~8hrs (except Mon Paris EdT cuz I don't have/tried it). I can smell Mon Paris EdP on my skin even the next day 😅
I loved manifesto when I smell it in the store but I can't remember a green note 🌱 I need to smell it again because I personally love this type of note
Hi Gabby Happy Thursday 🌅. I accidentally purchased the other toilette version of Mon Paris, , and I never realized that it wasn’t eau de parfum for 3 months. IThen bought Mon Paris Couture edp, I 😻. This scent is a STAR 🌟in my opinion. I also bought the Mon Paris Florale. I was crazy about it, but I’m just trying to finish this bottle. I wear my son’s edt bottle if Y, which I am a layer with any of them on Paris Fragrances. It is unisex as far as I’m concerned. I love it!. Thank you for this video. I never liked the Libre, smelled weird on me. Maybe it was the Ambergris (whales), which I try to avoid. I someday want to repurchase the original Paris and Opium, which I used to own for nostalgia purposes. Take Care🙏💖🌅🌟

@@andjelav.2806 It is similar but without the opening green notes. It has Tuberose in the floral notes which makes it bit more intense. It's a darker version of the original Manifesto.
I love the variety in YSL perfumes, they seem to hit every demographic and taste. Have you tried Parisienne? I keep seeing it pop up on discount sites but worry it will be too old fashioned.

I sold Manifesto edp, not a fan. I still have Libre intense and Cinema edp, good for fall/winter a very sweet vanilla and a miniature Cinema edt, is more fresh. Cinema is a hard to find discontinued perfume.
Discontinued? I just bought mine last week and they are available in every perfume shop (or webshop) where I live (Belgium). So. Maybe it was pulled out of where you live?

Manifesto used to be my signature scent, I still love it! And I also remember I liked Mon Paris when it just came out, so fruity.

The green note is pretty prominent in the opening of original Manifesto. Perhaps you tried Manifesto L'Elixir in the store? 🙄

I think the “ambergris” used in nearly all perfumes now is synthetic. Unless you meant you just don’t like the smell of it.
