For some reason, when trying to get the Windows Management Server running, I still can't get the ethernet adapter to work. I get the following message: "Error while sending command 'bridge add_nio_ethernet ethernet0.vnet "\Device\NPF_{C23DF354-50FA-4D7C-8AD1-BD9AD8D7DDC7}"': unable to create NIO Ethernet for bridge 'ethernet0.vnet': uBridge version 0.9.16 running with WinPcap version 4.1.3 (packet.dll version 10, 2, 0, 5002), based on libpcap version 1.0 branch 1_0_rel0b (20091008) Hypervisor TCP control server started (IP localhost port 49848). nio_ethernet_open: unable to open device '\Device\NPF_{C23DF354-50FA-4D7C-8AD1-BD9AD8D7DDC7}': Error opening adapter: The operation completed successfully. Hi Chris, this is an excellent lab. I was wondering if you could also do another lab on clustering/vsx, would be very usefull. Also, could you tell me if it is possible to run 2 firewalls while your host computer is only 8GB of ram, on top of GNS3? Thanks
I really like this video! It is really helpful for the novice GNS3 user, like me. I am, however, having an issue, when creating the management server. Everything went fine with the Windows installation. The only problem is with the Ethernet adapter not working. For some reason, it assigns "Ethernet 0 2" and then gives me this message when I start up the server: Error while sending command 'bridge add_nio_ethernet ethernet0.vnet . Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Basically, the adapter will not activate.
Thanks Ted! Hmm I'm not entirely sure, I have seen GNS3 resolve issue on its own just by closing and opening it again... I have started to use just VMware by itself more and more because of some bugs with GNS3. Just did a quick search though, check this post out github.com/GNS3/gns3-gui/issues/840
You can get away with setting up a single "standalone" FW which has the management running on the same VM, and probably a single endpoint behind it with 8GB of RAM. But to do anything similar to this video you would need at least 16GB of RAM.

Can someone tell me what is the min. system requirement to achieve this setup? Is 8 GB ram enough?

Hey man, awesome video it helped a lot
Will TampaEndpoint be used as a management station like Management-1 or is just a generic user?
Hey, I'm glad! It will just be a generic endpoint. Gonna be posting about 3 new videos by this weekend. Stay tuned!
