The dreaming way tarot told me it was for grieving, and I haven't reached a point in my life where I feel I need to grieve deeply, so she waits for me on the shelf for when I am ready.
Hello 🌸 Oh, that's really interesting. I know that I did a deck interview for this deck. I'll have to go back to my older journal to find out what I discovered about this deck. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment 🌼
I purchased The everyday enchantment tarot when it came out. I loved the deck but i somehow couldn't read with it. After few years i trimmed the deck and I tried to read with it again. It's my favourite, most used, go-to deck ever since. Maybe just give it another chance. I really love it and i always get amazing straight to the point readings with it.
Hello! Yes, I most definitely am not thinking of parting with it, but I feel that it's not ready to speak to me yet. I look forward to when it does, because it's a beautiful deck! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Everyday Enchantment Tarot, for watching & for taking the time to comment 🌼
I cut the borders off my Bonefire (with scissors no less!) and edged it, and if anything it made it easier to shuffle; it's a lovely chunky shape now! (A smidge of fanning powder also helped) Still far from my favourite cardstock, but much more usable now
Ooooooo, that's interesting to know. As mentioned in the video, I was worried that modifying it would make it more difficult to handle. Hmmmm, I'm going to give chopping off the borders some serious thought now 🤔 Thank you for the tip & thanks for watching. Happy Sunday to you! ☀️
I struggle with some of the same decks. I love the artwork of the Dreaming Way but have never been able to read with it. The Mary El is both beautiful and heavy. The guidebook is great if you can get past the super religious stuff. You are not alone!
Hello Katie! That's a relief... I just hope that these decks will start talking to me in the future 🤞Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🌸 ☺️
I like how we seem to have a similar philosophy on rehoming decks. I always think that every deck I'm struggling with is just a "code be to cracked," lol. There were so many decks in this video I've never seen before! Thanks for sharing!
😄😋 Yes, I think for me it's all about not being beat! I want to love & hug & squeeze all the decks I've purchased into my collection... And by jove... These decks are not getting away until I've had the chance to do just that! 😬😳🤪😂 Thanks so much for watching 🌼
@@feedingmysoul1212, I feel the exact same way. 🤣🤣 I've been told by my students that I'm kind of aggressive with my affection in all the best ways - YOU WILL FEEL LOVED. I think my decks (& pets) get the brunt of that emotion - especially when school's out for the summer. 😂
What is it about the Mary El tarot and the Faeries oracle that does this to people? I actually went as far as doing a deep dive and writing my own guidebooks for both. Yet I feel no more worthy of using them. I feel the same way about Thoth (already started a notebook on that one 🙄). I never learn. I was actually watching this as I was degilding and edging the Star tarot, which is another deck that has been waiting on my shelf for over a year. Everyone was raving about the guidebook, so I didn't feel I could use the deck before taking the time to read it. This week, I finally did, the whole damn week. It wasn't all that good, many mistakes on astrology, punctuation errors made the text clumsy and the writing could've used some serious editing (repetitive). I nearly threw the book on the floor as it kept saying that every second card meant "new beginning". I think I'm a bit traumatized by my own high expectations 😅. As mentioned, I never learn. I just got my copy of the Shadowland tarot, and I can't wait to chop the gilding off. It's terrible. Does not even go with the deck. But then again, I chop everything... off with the gilding say I. Mary El now has black edges and Faeries oracle I took all the way down to the image (title off, only number stayed). It's less intimidating now and quite cute actually. Anyways, thanks for this video and I hope there's a part two coming 😊.
Hello! Yeah, I don't know, but I've heard a few peeps say that they get tripped up by the Mary El... Strange! 🤔 Yes! The Star Tarot! That's another that sits on my shelf! Like you, I need to chop that gilding off! It's naff with a capital N! 😄 I haven't even read the guidebook, so what you mentioned about it us interesting... Haha! A part 2 might well be on the way! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🌸 🤗
I have a very specific use for the Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud, I only use it when I feel out of sync with the world, my 'WTF is going on?' days, when life brings little mishaps, delays or setbacks, I pull a card to see what energy is surrounding me or which energy I need to invite in, it works a treat. I have the same feeling as you regarding the Mary El Tarot, I am fascinated by it, and yet terrified of it at the same time. My main deck I can't pick up the The Wild Wood Tarot, it stresses me out, I don't know why, even after I re-wrote the badly written guidebook with its bad grammar and meandering writing stye, I still can't use it😄 Excellent video, thank you❤
Hello! Thank you for sharing your experience with the B.F Faeries Oracle. Since filming this video, I've actually been using it (exceptionally respectfully of course 😉). I've received some potent readings with it. Now I'm wonderwhy it took me so long to pick up! 🤷♀️ I'm glad you enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it 🌼 Happy Sunday to you!
The tarot that literally repulses me and makes me cross is the Herbcrafters Tarot. I’m not entirely sure why. I’m a forager and I think it jars with my knowledge… don’t know
Hello Penny! Hmmmm, that's interesting that you have such a strong reaction to it 🤔 The Herbcrafters is another one that's soon to make an appearance in an up coming video... Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🌸 🙂
The Dreaming Way Tarot I would pair with Guides of the Hidden Realm by C.B.R., Brian Froud’s pair with Scorpio Sea Tarot by Maggie Stiefvater, read J.W. Ocker’s Poe book. I read Season of the Witch, which is amazing! Pair Shadowland with Brian Frouds.
Hello! 😊 What great suggestions! I especially liked your Shadowland & Brian Froud pairing 🤔🧐 Hmmmm I might have to try those 2. Thanks for the tips, for watching & taking the time to comment 🌸
Ohhh, now that's interesting 🤔 I had a bit of an intuitive hit to try that deck with the Mantra Oracle too.... I feel some playing with pairs coming on! 😋 Thanks for watching! 🌼 😊
Every mention of the Mary El on this website makes me both intrigued to use it and terrified to buy it. Like HOW DARE you even THINK about touching it, you pipsqueak 😂
I have the 1st edition of the Bonefire and couldn't really use it the colors made me nauseous. But the newest one is much better. Th cardstock I'd a nice matt and it's edg d in red and Otis smaller and borderless. There a red a few different cards almost makes it feel like a different deck. Omg! I put mine with eh 8 coins too!
I’ll just say that I can’t tell whether a deck will click for me until I have it in hand. 🤷🏽♀️

OMG the trapdoor! I remember that show. This was such a great tag I think I’m going to do a RV.
Hello Ethony! I hope you do end up doing a VR, I'd love to see your choices. Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment. Happy Sunday to you! 🌸

I rehomed Animal Totem Tarot but then I missed it so I ended up getting it again. It’s one of the few decks I have rebought. I think its beautiful!
Hello! You are right! The artwork is gorgeous 😍 I just need to start working with it! 😉 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment 🌸
I have the Dreaming Way tarot and Lenormand. Neither call to me.

One of my fave cards in the Slavic Legends Tarot is the Strength Card it is a young girl riding a 🦬 Boson beautiful?😊

I want some of those decks.
