    As a Christian, I hated the “just have faith” answer to my hard questions I would ask the church. They never gave me any answers that were solid and confirming. I sort of left the religion for a while, then I decided to do some heavy research on my own unbiased. I have found that there have been evidence of the Old Testament stories in the Bible. For example, bricks with Nebuchadnezzar’s name on it were discovered in Babylonian remains and are in museums today. Also, prophecies in the Bible have been fulfilled already. I also hated that people were so comfortable saying that people will be in eternal torment, when that really is just them following false theology and using it as a fear factor for repentance.
    After my research, I came to believe in God myself. I still have many questions, and I know that some of them won’t be answered until I reach heaven and see it for myself. But I will spend the rest of my life learning, and that excites me. People I know often are confused as to why I study and question so hard, and that is sad to me. You SHOULD ask questions. As for the people making fun of people’s questions and making reaction videos shaming them, that further divides people. That’s not the fruit of the Spirit.
    Sending love your way. ♥️

      But doesnt that just prove Nebuchadnezzar was a real person and that he did rule, not that the scriptures involving him in the OT are automatically true? like for example if someone writes a story that involves George Washington, then there's proof George Washington was real, it doesnt mean the story he's mentioned in actually took place, or if someone writes something that involves Cleopatra and we have artifacts showing she existed, it doesnt mean that the account the person wrote involving her was true or accurate. Still I do appreciate you explaining your perspective kindly & respectfully

    What if faith was about your own relationship with God, instead of the sins that others choose to live in?

    Except the pages aren’t blank. She’s taking part in this verse being 100% full filled. John 15:19: "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I (Jesus) chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you"

      @ take a look at the verse I shared from John 15:19. Jesus is telling his disciples and all future followers that if we are in relationship with him, then we will be hated. You don’t have to look very far at all to find tremendous evidence of that. This video being just one example.

      @@66KMT But every group is unpopular with someone. Are atheists unpopular with theists for example?

    • @66KMT
      @66KMT 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ there’s a stark difference between being unpopular and hated. Scoffers like to say we just have a victim complex. But that doesn’t explain videos like the one attached.

      @@66KMT I think any religious or political group could find dislike somewhere, and could certainly label it hatred. I certainly don't think it's an ominous foreshadowing from Jesus, it's something anyone could have foreseen especially back then, when minority religions could expect persecution.

    So you're saying you hated a Christian analogy, and you took to TH-cam to say how stupid it was? To say Christians _are_ wise people would be false-- nobody is for that matter-- though they _do_ make it an ongoing effort to understand wisdom. 🤔
    Just my own viewpoint, feel free to clarify something crucial I missed.

    Michael Knowles rarely cites sources for anything.....he's frustrating and he scares me.....I genuinely think he's a theocrat he doesn't think there should be a "Bifurcation" between law and morality. Knowles would likely even enforce specific catholic morality over protestants (Like myself).
    I can't stand listening to him.

    Oh, Michael Knowles-nothing and the Ray Comfort-wannabe Kirk Cameron. No surprise there, that they can’t honestly address an argument. I’m not sure they have 3 brain cells between the 2 of them.
