mob psycho season 3 is great
but in the end he did realize that power is not everything, i love the way he asked his son to lend his shoulder for him after his 2nd fight with mob.

It’s crazy how good of a character he is without giving him some sad ass backstory most anime’s does with villains. Good “strong” villains that isn’t your generic “broken hero” is normally harder to write
One thing I love about the end of season 2 is that I like to think Suzuki starts to change because Mob saves his life. Mob is likely one of very few people in the world that have genuinely helped him with anything.
He wasn't able to experience that same compassion often because he used his powers for everything, which most other people don't have. So he never felt he needed anyone's help before. But now he has someone he can kind of relate to through his powers in Mob, and is saved by him.

I would love to see a video about the season 3 Suzuki sacrifice scene. NOONE is talking about it and I don't know why. That scene is... So amazing.
It flips the self sacrifice trope on its head and makes a successful critique without seeming cheap or forced. He goes forward to sacrifice his life, but realizes he never fulfilled his promise to Mob. He never apologized. He never reconnected with his family. Going out in a blaze of glory is not always the best thing for the people who love and rely on you.
(Also the season already had a sacrifice scene with Dimple, who worked much better because of his direct connection to Mob)
I'm pretty sure that's the same episode with 100% Ritsu though, so I can see why it gets overshadowed.
Mob wasn't in ???% at the time, I guess the animators just sometimes make him look like that just to be intimidating even though he was just at 100% rage, and that can sometimes be a bit confusing

@MageBurger I get what you mean but I'm just talking about the visual effects of the animation. There are times where Mob looks like he's in ???%(Giving him that darkened Aura with white eyes) just to make him look intimidating.
Examples are his 100% rage explosion against Tochiro Suzuki, he's massive attack against Koyama at 100% animosity and he's fight against God Dimple when he was only at 99%.
Hell, they even made Sho Suzuki look like he went ???% when he reversed the gravity of Ishiguru's black hole.
I'm just saying that sometimes it can be a bit confusing seeing Mob with the white eyes and dark aura despite not being at ???% even though that's what he is represented as
Honestly, I've always aligned a lot with the characters that use their power recklessly. Cuz to me that's what a normal person would do. "I have the power so why not?" "If I can do it then who else but God can make me stop?" Those thoughts just seemed natural and Mob is such a touching example on why that ain't the best mindset. If I could read minds it would make taking a test a lot easier, but I wouldn't ever get the same satisfying feeling of when I used to study for weeks and on the holiday breaks to get a high score. Normal is best in the end I suppose

You’re the definite minority in liking this guy. To me and probably to most he was boring af. Well written, maybe, but that fight of season 2 left me wanting.
i dont know about that ive only heard great things about him but i surround myself with a community who like him but boring seams like a stretch especially for him being in like 2 eps but bc he was in a short amount of eps i can see how u can think that
@@ZayuhFanClub They definitely could have done more with him, and opened him up a bit more. They handled Teruki pretty well in the beginning and that’s what I imagine as the evil mob scenario. 2 ep was just not enough. Glad to know he returns in the manga.
