I have a new favorite bass player, Richard Bona. He made 8 yr old Áron Hodek feel comfortable on stage, and his smile is contagious. You just see/feel the positive energy emanating from this man.
Yeah, The basic Chicken riff isn't that difficult finger-wise but it's easy to lose your place if you don't concentrate. This kid has it all on point and can keep it going for as long as he needs. that's impressive at such a young age.
I had the pleasure of teching Richard for one gig only, he was by far one of the coolest, nicest, just overall best artists I've ever had the chance to work with. Great guy. Great player too!

He's got such good attack and all those ghost notes and everything, plus taking cues on the fly like that, what a badass! I was still playing with dirt and sticks when I was his age, haha!
