It depends on the mother in question. I have come across my fair share of highly dysfunctional parents who bring nothing positive into any situation. In some cases they are more childish and selfish than their actual children. I have a cousin who is a married physician with a healthy baby boy. Her mother is a drug addict that we literally thought was dead for three years before she popped back up again. The family making sure she didn’t disrupt her daughters life is the main reason why she was able to be successful.
Just for solid info you have to go through a considerable amount of therapy to have a sex change, and can’t legally get on until 18 anyway. Changing a name and I.d can always be changed back and that’s what she has a problem with. And that can be valid. But it sounds more like she wants her duaghter to still be her son. And she is not respecting the child’s spiritual, emotional and physical journey. She should have been there throughout. She had chances but u can’t come now that things aren’t going ur way. A true parent is 24/7 and still a parent even through the child’s adulthood.
Syleena is a good supportive mother and loving stepmother so she will understand much better than y'all. Also, Claudia knows majority of black people don't read or research so she is intentionally giving false information about the Wade's. However, STOP being followers and watch the numerous videos that are from the father and stepmother own mouths about how they felt and learned when Zaya TOLD THEM about being born in the wrong body. Jumping on salacious bandwagons makes y'all look problematic AF.

Because for some people having gender identity issues is truly a phase. That’s why there’s so much therapy and psychological analysis that takes place before someone is allowed to start having major surgeries. As far as zaya kissing boys on the internet is concerned the answer is simple. Because that’s what teens do they make dumb decisions to kiss people online. Simply because they are trans teens doesn’t exempt them from doing the things that all teens do. we were all teens at one point and the only difference is we wasn’t kissing folks and posting it. We didn’t even have anywhere to post it.
