Who else thinks Casio should re-enter the pro synth market? Pick up where they left off with their CZ and HT series. I think there would be a lot of excitement over a new Casio SYNTH!!
It is hard to build something for pros when you've been making beginners' crap for decades.
@@Acrimonious_Snake You obviously never experienced the joys of the Casio MZ 2000 keyboard, synth , workstation which when it came out back then was miles in front of many of the higher priced models and brands. Many good groups used it and it was very capable. You could not call it beginners crap as it was superior to many others. You should not condemn if you haven't played it.
@@derickpearson1078 Nevertheless, you can't argue with a simple fact that Casio DOES produce lots of cheap crap for beginners. Even their latest AiX sound engine sounds flat, has terrible cheap FXs, the patches are mostly one-shot single-component GM PCMs with no multisamples, no bass, the filter resonance sounds poor. Yeah, the build quality and plastic work of Casio is fine. But that's it.
Nice board I bought CT-X700 for my daughter and I been playing it more than her .lol I'm going to by the 5000 for me. .🎹👍
I'm impressed by the sound quality. Casio was always behind the competition (Yamaha, Roland etc.) But this keyboard is really great!
Was not always behind the competition, did you play the MZ2000? did you dig into the settings and create sounds superior to many high priced alternatives? You should have then you may not have made a statement like that.
Tenho um CA 110, quatro oitavas que ganhei quando criança. Uma relíquia, foi meu primeiro teclado. Hoje em dia tenho um ctk 3200, bem básico. ESTOU LOUCO POR UM DESSES AÍ... ESPERO UM DIA PODER COMPRAR UM. Parabéns a CASIO por criar com tanto detalhes, teclados como essa linha CT x

Eu ja tive um CA 110 kkkk que legal q vc ainda tem ele depois comprei um prs 510 yamaha que ainda tenho guardado,nao desfaz do seu nao,guarda essa reliquia

As far as CASIO has come, they still have a LONG way to go......
The WK3500 of years ago was way ahead, but direct sound feed on this video covers up (probably) the still awful keyboard rattle. The piano tone has little improved either. I found the WK7600 particularly disappointing even though you can isolate various instruments from auto accompaniments. They seem to be stepping backwards.

@@TonyWilliampianoman Well, MY first Casio was the MT-40... the Sleng-Teng theng! Around Christmas 1982, I was 19. That little keyboard started me off. About 3.4 years later, I got my first Hammond (an M-102, followed a few months after that, with a Leslie 760). These days I play a Hammond XK5; I've been playing organ for over 36 years now. Point being, I give Casio some serious credit. Started with an MT-40, now they're offering the CTX-5000. I don't think they're slipping or regressing at all.
That brass section tone sounds nice and powerful.

Eu peguei o MZ X300 ja estou devolvendo. Depois de uma olhada PSR-EW410 estou pensando em pegar esse. A tela do casio travou 2 vezes teve que desligar o MZX300.

I have a question ,the sounds on the keyboard sound great in program mode ,but what if your building a track using the 17 track sequencer ,your going to lose the insert effects that help the sounds in program mode right? and how many insert effects can be applied to sounds in sequencer mode? i have a Korg micro arranger and in sequencer mode up to 4 effects can be applied to the sounds in that mode .

Thanks for your comment reply ,- Casio should make a long demo for this board , “ solo sax’ trumpet’ trombone’ jazz guitar etc, it’s seems a “ good” keyboard , & deserves ‘ a full demo , cheers to you once again .
It is a great keyboard with some of the best live sounds. The only snag is good bits of kit like these don't come with external interfaces. At least when I get one I can transfer my recordings from the memory to ableton. I would hope that more advanced models would compromise this facility.

Can you use the CT-X5000 to midi connect to a DAW like Apple Mainstage, or is the midi part just for output only?
You can use it as a midi controller too
They continue with the tradition of using cheap displays, though, despite the nice new features, if you check you cannot read anything on display through out the whole video.

Casios are good but some don't come with transpose...

Sounds are good but their sample durations are very short.
Styles and grooves are better than sound.
Eu gosto quando quando um tecladista apresenta os sons do teclado os pianos assim nada de acompanhamento eletrônico as vezes vc tá com um teclado que é uma máquina mais só apresentam acompanhamento

Ребята очень сильно внешне синтезатор похож на Касcио ct x 3000 в 5000 модели больше памяти внутреней🔊🎹🎚🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎛 ночинка не сильно отличается по звукам и стилям____ если есть деньги можно взять синтезатор выше классом.

Las TECLAS son de pésima calidad! ¡UNA DESGRACIA! producen ruidos insoportables para quienes estudian de noche con audífonos, las teclas se encargan de despertar a quienes duermen! Los viejos teclados casio baratos tenían teclas infinitamente mejores.... ¡Tengo este y NO LO RECOMIENDO! una pena que los tonos sean hermosos y las funciones PERO LAS TECLAS
HICIERON EL INSTRUMENTO SIN UTILIZAR.
Es cierto, el teclado es ruidoso. No en extremo pero molesta que suene mas de lo que uno espera.
